William Ruto Responsible for Kenyan Violence: Odinga and Kibaki Must Take Action

We respect the seriousness of the events going on in Kenya and encourage a productive and enlightening dialogue.

This is a statement from People Foundation, Inc, California. Over the last couple of days, we have seen Hon. Raila Odinga come to terms with the escalating loss of human lives in our country, and has consistently softened his stand towards a peaceful resolution to the current crisis. One thing that has aroused our curiosity is the posture that William Ruto has taken in the whole reconciliation process. We got concerned and embarked on a quick investigative research to unearth what is driving Ruto not to explore peaceful resolution to the social-political crisis going on in our country.

Let the truth be known that William Ruto is the man sponsoring the genocide operations going in Rift Valley through the Karamajong Guerilla Fighters, a militia with operations similar to the old known militia "the Shiftas" that fought Moi in the 1980s. Reliable sources indicate that Karamojong Guerrilla Fighters arrived in city of Eldoret where they mercilessly massacred hundreds of innocent people including women and children.

Recently Ruto was reported to be out of Nairobi, and could not attend the meeting between Raila and Kalonzo. We have established that Ruto was in Eldoret meeting with the Karamojong Guerilla Fighters. Ruto knew that the only way ODM could have access to adequate firepower (KEG) was to engage the Karamojong Guerilla Fighter who are obviously known to possess insurmountable quantities of AK-47, Automatic Rifles and other sophisticated small arms. It is important to highlight the fact that Karamojong communities are cousins with the Luos, and therefore, it is the same militia that is killing people in Nyanza.

It is therefore imperative for the government of the day to take decisive and conclusive action against William Ruto, and the perpetrators of genocide. We cannot afford to see one more live lost. We are also asking Hon Raila Odinga to disassociate himself with William Ruto and speak for peace and return of the nation to normalcy. Who knows whether the judicial process could over turn the ECK decision, and see a re-run of the presidential elections?

Karamoja, the nomadic pastoralists of Northern Uganda and Kenya have traditionally raided each other's livestock, an activity that flows naturally from their cultural frameworks for life. During the raiding season, the raid is typically followed counter-raid with considerable loss of life. Ever since they became neighbors, raiding has gone on intermittently, not only between Karamojong and Pokot, but also between them and Jie, Dodoso, Turkana, Samburu, Marakwet, Sapiny ot Sabawot, and Bukusu.

Before 1970s, Karamoja was peaceful, pastoral and traditional, but the years according to Mirzeler & Young (2000) ushered in the new era of guns. The proliferation of automatic rifles (Leggett, 2000) has unequivocally infected the Karamojong culture with ills of modern AK-47 raids, which currently pose the single greatest risk to the security of the northern region. Mirzeler & Young (2000) write that there are over 40,000 AK-47 in Karamojong community, while Gray (2000) estimates that there are over 100,000 automatic rifles in Karamoja. Firearms are not novelties for the Karamojong, they have enculturated them with very little fuss, just like other Iron implements, all of which are acquired from foreigners. The Karamojongs have possessed firearms since 1870 when the colonial government licensed some, and there have always been at least a few illicit firearms.

The community started acquiring sophisticated guns in large quantities in the 1970s following the routing of President Idi Amin's army in Uganda by an alliance of Tanzanian People's Defense Force and Uganda exiles (Mburu, 2000). One known major source was the Moroto barracks which the fleeing Ugandan dictator abandoned intact thus allowing the Karamojong to help themselves to unlimited quantities of rifles, small arms and ammunitions.

William Ruto, knowing very well that in the context of the Turkana and Karamojong people that the current governments in Kenya and Uganda are part of the insecurity problem, has incited the Karamojongs and other communities to violence, and secretly engaged the Karamojong Guerilla Fighters to inflict fear and suffering among the people in protest of the outcome of the just concluded general elections. To this end, Ruto should be apprehended as an underworld warlord who incites ethnic communities to arm and commit genocide like what recently happened in the church campus in Eldoret.

For those who think the government should not act decisively and conclusively with William Ruto should read (Romans 13:4) .. for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil.

The letter to the Kalenjin community seems to be written by those behind the genocide in our country. Talk of going back 100 years!! There are many kenyans including kalenjis living in countries such as UK, USA, Australia and they own property in those countries. Tell me we are not backward if I can own property in the USA or UK and NOT in Eldoret or Kisumu!!!

Kalenjins are more inteligent and can easily identify the cheap tactics Kikuyus try to apply agaisnt them.
You guys don't know the unwritten kenya history.Colonialist displaced most Kalenjins out of the land in during pre-colonial period by creating settlement schemes(prime land) for whites and Reserve land for Africans(Kalenjins)(non prime land).
When Colonialist left,Kenyatta government settled most Kikuyus from central province in total disregard of natives who had been displaced prior.Kikuyus got the land for FREE, only paid title fees for ~Ksh 5.00),Kikuyus went ahead and named the allocated lot of land
after where they came from in central, thus you find a a KIAMBAA,a RURIGI,a KIAMBOGO,a KAMUYU etc in eldoret,Kitale etc.!,Did they have to change local names?????,Kalenjins will never let history repeat itself, instead it is a learned lesson!!
In 5yrs Kibaki kicked almost all Kalenjins holding senior government positions- what was he gona do NEXT!!

all this is nonsence... kibaki is the main cause of the kenyan impasse let him come to his senses first!!!!!!!!!

O.k people with big mouth..We can all Yap and Yap but we are not solving any problem plus who are you yupping to, Raila, Kibaki or ruto,, they all don't care, all they are protecting is what they have. Thugs are being paid 500 shs to cause mayhem. It can be kibaki, Raila or the Scundulous RUTO... Kenyans rise above tribal lines and lets leave in unity... Kalenjins sold most of their Land just like the Maasai did and they continue doing so, and now they want their land Back.... Damn people, this is thuggery or should i say conmen. For those who think that someone in california cannot comment about this sensitive issue, you are mnothing but just another fool that will go nowhere than go out with a panga and kill your innocent neighour be it kikuyu luo or whoever. Kisumu has been looted and burned down, and now i hear that the water is contaminated, what is next cholera.... just because the son of NYANZA or where ever did not become Prezi.... Who cares or gives a F**k.... there is another election in the next 5 yrs.... and the truth of the matter is both Camps RIGGED the ELECTIONS, but just that The RAILA Camp was Stupid enough to show it outright in the beggining, now this gave Kibaki the reason to master the game so why cry foul if both rigged, only one was a master... plus i dont think The Raila camp had done some good calculations... Now for RUTO, Its damn a Shame cos at the end of the Day, If all kikuyus were to leave Rift Valley, the Kaleos will die of hunger, and you better believe me this is going to happen in Kisumu.... Watch this colum as it gets nasty and nasty... LOVE KENYA

These is for you kenyan idiots in this forum and mostly the ones in foreign land - USA, CA, canada, Europe, and wherever you are.

Your families seend you out there to get some more schooling mostly but it seem that guy who burnt the church in eldoret and those that burnt the house in Naivasha must be more intelligent or lesss insane than all of you.

From the conversation here, it were better all of you were in that church and in that house in naivasha, and burnt to death - Yes we could afford to rid inciters tan innocent women and children in Eldoret and naivasha

Growing up there are lots of things I have never been able to put into perspective, especially this comment,“ you can remove one from the village, but you cannot remove the from them”. Thank you all for the wonderful comments, today, I feel learned.

Kikuyu Vs Kaleos. Is that a war - well right now the Mungiki have been funded with guns - kaleos are still using bows and arrows - when time comes, they will resort to their hidden stock of machines guns and guns to match the mungiki.

with the Egos of mt. kenya mafias and the pride of the Kaleos, it is interesting who will have enough coalition to strike the other from the face of the earch.

This is reality. stop kidding yourselves with war of words. Soon it will be urban and village warfare. You know the kaleos are like bush, take the war to the enemy backyard - Its called offense - watch my word

It is high time Kikuyu stop thinking they are better and smart!Mungiki is just but a selected outcast of KIKUYU,just before election they even Killed their own people in Central and Nairobi.Every Kalenjin Man is traditionally a fighter for Centuries-bring it on- if you can!!

Hey Dude, I thing ur messed up! And if some further investigation could be done right now, you must be a typical mkikuyu,...meaning "mchinga mkuu"
So what you tellin' us is nothing but nonesense! You think everyone right now in kenya doesn't know that the 2007 presidency election results was seriously flawed? Even the whole whole is aware of it dog...so be careful of what you post, a'right? PEACE!

Anonymous said...

look here Dude whatever the case,Kikuyus have two options, fight the rest of kenyan communities including police from those communities-more killings of course,or call fresh elections. If you think i am joking,Kibaki should try going to Mombasa,Kisumu Eldoret, or anywhere apart from central as 'Rais' and u'll know why he is not the president. He has to win legitimately otherwise he'll remain in state house but nobody recognises his power+there is a possibility of languishing in jail after 5yrs coz whichever way,Kenya's next president is not and will definately never be Kikuyu!

ruto is not responsible for anything but kibaki did not win election and this is the issue.
he kibaki is just there to protect the his rich friends from mt. kenya and beyond.
kibaki has nothing to help the so calld kikuyu people although they think he is. sily....
kibaki does not care about change,or life of people or democracy, he has amentality that the luo and the luyah can not lead a kikuyu.
the entire kikuyu community thinks that they other tribes cannot lead them hence the plan to keep power at whatever cost, but iam telling this violence will sink this community of muntu wa nyumba.
i mean this guys they so tribalistic but they can not win outright in acompetetive election, kenyatta never won free and fair election without consensus and being brutal; killing critics and imprisoning others
let us see how kibaki became president- consensus the second one is rigging.
so once again ruto nothing to do with clashes but kibaki and moi
i have lost everything which is trust
patriot.

When Has a Kaleo created employment in kenya and hired fellow kenyans, what about the luos none!! for 24 years what did you do... you kaleos none talk of backwardness. Look at kibera what has Raila done? look at kisumu, as for Balala..just want to bring sheria law...

This man "Ruto" is a war-monger, corrupt and tribelist. The only place this person belongs is the gas chamber. Kenyans have a right to work and live any-where in Kenya. Ruto has planted a bad seed betwwen Kenyans and this is going to stay in people's mind for a long time because of this one Kale fool.
Some-one on this forum said that Moi's sons were voted out. The real reason they were voted out was because they have independent mind and refused to worship Ruto and other Kale bush fool.

You all sound like kids..cheap talk full of ignorance. Since when did losing an election put brothers in arms? Bush stole the election from Al Gore and people moved on. We have not heard of riots in Muthaiga, Loresho, Karen or Lavington and do not forget we have both kikuyus and luos living in those neighborhoods. Why use the ignorant foolish people to fight for thr rich. Raila and kibaki should spend a night in kibera and mathare to know what these folks go through. They keep saying how much they care for the poor folks. Let the have braekfast with your familys in your mansions. It is about time kenyans became patriotic to their country. do not go around destroying things in the name of politics. Grow up kenyans. We are all kenyans and not tribes as some people are trying to put it. My wife is big supporter of ODM and I support PNU and we both love each other dearly. We understand that is ok to have differnt opinions without fighting.....some of you talk and reason like people who have lost their minds. Seek medical help for God sake all you tribalist fools.

I believe that it is impossible to end hatred with hatred. -- Mahatma Gandhi 23rd November, 1924

We have learned that change cannot come through war. War is not a feasible tool to use in fighting against the oppression we face. War has caused more problems. We cannot embrace that path. -- Rigoberta Menchu 1995

I think that nonviolence is one way of saying that there are other ways to solve problems, not only through weapons and war. Nonviolence also means the recognition that the person on one side of the trench and the person on the other side of the trench are both human beings, with the same faculties. At so me point they have to begin to understand one another. -- Rigoberta Menchu 25th September, 1996

I was not a tribalist till I talk to my Kikuyu friends, Jesus christ! People even refuse to see facts! I am Kalenjin but come on people, Kikuyus, don't write what you don't know, I was in Kenya during elections, people lined up by 6 am, by the third day, the whole rift valley for all the places I visited, people were standing outside their houses, waiting for election results, and by the fourth day, nothing was forth-coming and people started crowding shopping centers trying to hear the outcomes, and when it was annouced! Everyone looked confused, then the worst thing, the media went off, by the next morning Kass-FM was only playing music and no one was broadcasting, KBC was showing cartoons, at around 10.00am people one by one, pick up their weapon and want outside their face, and a big match began, I remember seeing about 1 km of peopl matching towards eldoret town, with bows and arrows, I am Nandi so I could drive freely, I got to eldoret ahead of the people on my side of the town and surprising eldoret was already sorrounded! there was over 20,000 armed youth from all the Kalenjin tribes!
And to clarify the the write, actually, the POKOT arrived way later armed with AK 47s infact around btw 150 to 300, in four lorries they hijacked on their way, but by then the war was way over, they wanted to go to Nakuru but people couldn't let then since it was evident that things were getting out of control and they celebrated with a number of cows and want back.
If the media was fuctioning at that time nothing like tha would have happen, Rutto is not involve and actually, if Annan fails things will be even worst, I heard reports that, a large population of RF have now acquire automatic weapons in readiness for Mungiki which is thought to be already armed by the government. It has now reach a point that even the Parents cannot stop these Kids, live alone Rutto, people are anger and beleive me, you can say what you want but here I am saying, Re-run will solve these, if Raila give up, people will not, and the only way to get the displace people back to their homes in RF, reconcillation has to start by Re-running the elections, no government will assure people's safety apart from the people themselve, if we don't solve the election problems, I don't see anything going to be better, remember and I am saying again things might get out of hand sooner or later, remember even Millitary and Police are kenyans they have an opinion, if can't solve it, sooner or later, the forces will start spliting and now Kenya will be Rwanda!

Now the government are funding the Mungiki and kaleos are getting guns from Sudan through the pokots so who is gonna win?No more bows and arrows brother..

The writer of this ariticle on Ruto and the Karamoja does not know anything.

Here are the facts, the Karamoja and the Kalenjins, especially the Pokot and the sabaot, have been fighting for centuries. The have also been fighting with the Turkanas and the Teso in the North. For that reason, the Karamoja cannot be a party with anything to do with the Kalenjins.

Even if that was true, why would Ruto go all the way to Karamoja when they are guns in the Kalenjin region among the Pokot, the sabaot, the tuken and even the Keiyo? Why would he go far when they are guns in Kalenjin cousin's Land, the masai and the Turkana.

With those facts straight, you should be able to see that Ruto is not involved. No guns have been used in Eldoret, Nakuru or anywhere else among the Kalenjins. Instead, the Kikuyus have used guns agains't the Kalenjins and have been riding in police and army lorries causing mayhem in all parts of the country including Kisumu, Kakamega, Kericho, Nakuru, Mombasa, Malindi, Nairobi.

Take no mistake about it, all Kenyans are united against president Kibaki's arogance and his arogant commmunity. He needs to learn a lesson especially if he does not realize that he has isolated his own people agains't all others.

Luos, Luhyas, Teso, Akiriama, Abakuria, Mijikenda, Turkan, Masai, Sambur, Kalenjin, all Northeastern people, and all coast people are united. Most Kamba and Kisii people that have not bee brainswashed are also united against the injustices and arrogance of Kibaki and his people.

Let Kibaki know that a simple mistake of trying to do anything that would implicate Ruto or any of the pentagon members is going to be a disaster because it is going to be pure incitement of Kenya against Kibaki and his people. The solutionis Kibaki step down and allow a new election where if he wins all will accept and the country will be back in peace.

Ngugi laments Kenya violence
Renowned Kenyan novelist and playwright Ngugi wa Thiong'o tellls BBC World Update his views on the unrest that has engulfed Kenya since last month's disputed elections.

Ngugi wa Thiong'o
Ngugi's politically charged writing led to his arrest in 1977

Writers must sometimes feel like the Greek prophetess Cassandra, gifted to see the future but fated not to be believed.

What is unfolding in Kenya could as well have been lifted from my novel Wizard of the Crow where the ruling party and the opposition parities engaged in Western-sponsored democracy become mirror images of one another in their absurdity and indifference to the poor.

The picture of men and women burnt down in a church where they had gone for refuge still haunts my mind. A child running away from the fire was caught and hurled back into the flames.

One of the few survivors was quoted as saying: "But they knew me; we were neighbours. I thought Peter was a friend - a good neighbour. How could Peter do this to me?"

This crime should be investigated by the United Nations

I had heard the same puzzled cry from Bosnia. I had heard the same cry from Iraq. I had heard the same, same words from Rwanda: "We were neighbours; we'd married into each other. How could this happen?"

And now I hear the same cry from Eldoret North in my beloved Kenya. For me this burning of men, women and children in a church is a defining single instant of the current political impasse in Kenya.

And this must be separated from accusations and counter-accusations of rigged elections by the contending parties.

Makeshift displaced camp in Eldoret, western Kenya, on Tuesday
The violence has forced thousands of Kenyans into camps

Rigged elections is one thing - it can be righted by any mutually agreed political measures - but ethnic cleansing is another matter altogether.

What is disturbing is that this instant seems to have been part of a co-ordinated program with similar acts occurring in several other places at about the same time against ordinary members of the same community.

Ordinary people do not wake up one morning and suddenly decide to kill their neighbours.

Ethnic cleansing is often instigated by the political elite of one community against another community. It is premeditated - often an order from political warlords.

Or it may be the outcome of an elitist ideology of demonising and isolating another community.

Either way the aim is to drive members of the targeted community from the region.

Premeditated

Frantz Fanon, the intellectual visionary of the Third World, had long ago warned us of the dangers of the ideology of regionalism preached by an elite whose money can buy them safe residence in any part of a country.

Protesters in Nairobi
Political tensions have brought ethnic divisions to the surface

A single instance of premeditated ethnic cleansing can lead to an unstoppable cycle of vendettas - a poor-on-poor violence - while those who tele-guided them to war through the ideology of hate and demonisation are clinking glasses in middle-class peace at cocktail parties with the elite or the supposed enemy community.

This crime should be investigated by the United Nations.

If it is found that a political organisation has run a campaign on a programme that consciously seeks to isolate another community as a community, then they ought to be held fully accountable for the consequences of their ideology and actions.

It is often easier to blame a government when it is involved in massacres. This is as it should be.

A government must always be held to higher standards, for its very legitimacy lies in its capacity to ensure peace and security for all communities.

But what about if such a massacre is inspired by a programme of an opposition movement?

This ought to receive equally severe condemnation from all and sundry, for being in opposition does not give an organisation the right to run on an ideology of isolation and hate targeted at another community.

The world does not need another Bosnia; Africa certainly does not need another Rwanda

An opposition movement is potentially a government of tomorrow. A programme that such a political organisation draws while in opposition would obviously be the programme they'll try to implement when in power.

That's why such acts must be condemned even when they are clothed in progressive, democratic-sounding words and phrases.

I therefore call upon the United Nations to act and investigate the massacres in Kenya as crimes against humanity and let the chips fall where they may.

For the sake of justice, healing and peace now and in the future I urge all progressive forces not to be so engrossed with the political wrongs of election tampering that they forget the crimes of hate and ethnic cleansing - crimes that have led to untimely deaths and the displacement of thousands.

The world does not need another Bosnia; Africa certainly does not need another Rwanda.

On the 26th I posted a comment and requested this blog to remove the Kenyan flag/national coat of arms from its head. That has not happened yet.
Instead you have continued to provide a forum for the propagation of hate rhetoric which is inciting Kenyans against each other.
It is beginning to be clear that contributors bear elevated animosity equivalent to (if not surpassing) that born by the killers destabilizing Kenya right now. Hate stereotypes have been stepped up too.
I want to thank those who have posted messages with some positive perspectives, including those who have done so while blending it with some undesirable phrases.
I am beginning to long for an audience of online Kenyans who, whatever perspective they embrace, would have respect for facts and truth. Only then can we hope that so long as this hate blog thrives we may, in the future converge towards some stances tending to tension reduction. Otherwise it is meaningless invoking God’s name, teachings of religion (Christianity). The hearts of most of the contributors are apparently not ready for those teachings.
One fact which has been trampled on very persistently, in my opinion, is who is to blame for the civil war that is ravaging Kenya right now. (I am not suggesting that it is important at this stage to continue debating who or what the cause is).
Kenyans, even if we debated for one million years we shall never know how Kalenjins would have behaved if ODM won the elections. Let us stop speculating on this and using generalizations subsequently obtained to find a culprit in Hon Ruto. The elections results were disputed and more evidence points towards rigging. But as soon as we found ourselves in the dispute the opportunity to know how Kalenjins would have behaved dissipated beyond discussion.
The effort to depict Hon Ruto as a person who can not accommodate defeat (and therefore an inciter) is not one I can comfortably entertain under current circumstances because he backed a losing horse in Moi anointed, Uhuru and remained calm.

I admire the thought of one contributor who challenged us to practice what we chant in our National anthem. The third line of the anthem is “Justice be our shield and defender.”
One fact we must embrace as Kenyans, about that line is this: Ordinary Kenyans do not have the capacity to primarily effect this. Politicians do. When they have done their part in laying the systems that set justice in our midst, every citizen has the duty to oblige. However much we are in denial, the rigging of the elections deleted that line from our national anthem.
Hon. Mwai Kibaki may have won fairly if that pleases any of us to hear. But when half of the Kenyan voters sensed foul play and shouted for justice. Hon. Mwai Kibaki, who was the chief custodian of the constitution then, and who was serving as the president of the previous government ignored the reading on the wall and proceeded, as he does now, as if everything was business as usual.
The international community indicated their misgivings on the electoral process and advised on the way forward. Hon Mwai Kibaki continued to processes himself as duly elected, including stating so in front of the very negotiators. Kenyan civil institutions and eminent persons denounced the results and criticized the “government” attitude at the onset of the crisis. These included persons like Wangari Mathai and many heads of civil institutions, who hail from Mt Kenya region, and who patriotically want to pursue truth. According to the Standard, Mathai had her security withdrawn, in a move she calls “intimidation.” Murage, the director of State House bought into the reconciliatory path. Hon Mwai Kibaki fired him, as alluded by the press. Remember Kenyatta and Moi? I can not testify to Hon Ruto’s innocence or guilt. I don’t have any data to support either way. But let me repeat that in fairness, his conduct before the elections, with due respect, is undocumented and almost irrelevant.

In crisis management we must never lose focus of the cause of a crisis. Any effort to argue outside the recognition of that cause is wasted effort on power struggles like we are witnessing in this hate blog. We must come out of our denial and recognize that the origin of the civil war is a disputed election. Pre-election biases and ethnic sour-feelings existed and will continue to exist. But the spark that ignited the current civil war is the disputed election.

Some of the stereotypes I have read are that Luos are impulsive. Kalenjins premeditated, pre-planned their acts and they are now being incited and funded.
Let us get real. I amost fell victim to that impulsivity when a regional football club won a championship.
But the first impulsive gesture in the current situation was rigging an election. That was an irrational act. It was equivalent to, in soccer, the ball being kicked out of play (outside the touch line.) When that happens, the referee blows the whistle and has the ball reset into play. They do not continue to referee while players kick it out there. Neither do they engage in speculating “what if the ball remained inside” scenarios as many of you are doing.
Once there was that irrational act (of rigging) there were bound to be irrational responses- and impusively from Luos, with due respect. It is sad that many of you want to referee the irrational responses siding with politicians and the killers who have brought us where we are.
It is clear what the political leaning of those who are charging pre-plans, inciting and funding is.
I am not a supporter of any of our political parties or even the system. I believe we don’t need politicians in the first place. But I love reason and rationality: What great plans do we need to fetch a simi, a match box and such hate paraphernalia, and dash across the field to slaughter innocent, vulnerable human beings? All that is needed is an unbearable message injected to ears of a group of people who expected otherwise. Groups such as one would expect to find in rural Kenya shopping centers, crowding around a bar TV, awaiting election results. And the message, in this case, was injected by the pattern of events of the third night (when Raila’s 1.2 Million lead evaporated). How the spontaneity spread? It is conceivable how copy cat effects can spread that reaction quickly using the same media.
And if you want logic to credit those of you with the contention that those mediocre perpetrators don’t have brains of their own and that Ruto is the mastermind in the Rift Valley. Can the advocates of that contention name his march, who has got Mungiki out swinging with parallel spontaneity?
Amazingly many of you don’t want to admit that what is happening to Kenya is now its own example. Don’t cite Rwanda/Burundi, Bosnia. Cite Naivasha, Nakuru, Eldoret Kibera, and so on. Don’t cite hate mentality in Hitler’s Germany. Cite this blog and many of the contributors. Don’t say Kenya is going to be like Rwanda. Say the rest of Kenya is going to be like, Eldoret, Molo, Nakuru and Naivasha. Don’t cite Jews, Rwandese. Cite innocent Kenyans who have suffered in the Rift valley including Kikuyus, Kisiis, etc; innocent Kenyans who have suffered at the oppressive government machinery including Luos, Kalenjins, Luhyas and coast people; cite general Kenyans hailing from west of the Rift Valley who have suffered under Mungiki in Kawangware, and now Nakuru and Naivasha.
The point is; in the current civil war every Kenyan life that perishes is significant, including that of the perpetrators. Yes, including those of the perpetrators. Because it now is a leadership issue.
Please focus on matters that can help save Kenya. Respect facts and the truth, even when they pierce your tribal chauvinism. Avoid justifying the politicians now.

Hon Mwai Kibaki may have a desirable vision in free education, economy and so forth. The virtues of justice, respect for dialogue, consensus and a democratic culture surpass all those. The virtue of humility to listen to what reputed people are saying, the blood flowing in the streets, and soul searching; regarding what is happening to Kenyan streets with sympathy and empathy are virtues and qualities we want to see in him NOW.
So Kenya is now Rwanda, Bosinia and what have you. From what I read there were individuals in Rwanda who rose above the ethnic frenzy, and rescued potential victims during the genocide. Post-genocide, there were resourceful persons who formed the basis of grass-root reconciliation. With you people inciting each other; with the holier-than-thou attitude many of you have assumed for your ethnic roots, where is that pool of patriotic Kenyans to spearhead reconciliation and healing.

What does the bare-footed, mind-poisoned Kenyan, who is traversing Kenya’s savannah with a simi and matchbox have in his head that many of you contributors don’t? Your have proved very eloquent in expressing your impulses on this blog because you have the opportunity and skill. One of you even went one step further to spill their hate in mother tongue for maximum incitement value. Another addressed his kinsmen exclusively as warriors. Those killers have proved their eloquence too, one step further, using the opportunities they have.

With the Hon Kalonzos, Hon Wetangulas, Hon Karuas, Hon Michukis …who are dug in defending the cause of a government which may well be illegitimate; and the Hon Odingas, Hon Rutos who have lost control of their supporters, where are the Kenyan politicians who can create the reconciliatory environment? With the Hon Kibakis and the Hon Saitotis who have banned broadcasts, where is the forum to talk to the hooligans to woo them into a break?
Don’t tell me about courts. You and I are Kenyans and we know that our courts do not have the capacity to be fair, fast.
Furthermore court petitions are designed to address minor electoral offences when the integrity of the electoral process is intact. That was not the case. We had cases where returning officers rejected the data surfacing at KICC from their own precincts (I just returned from Kenya.) The integrity of ECK was compromised. ECK can not serve in a fair role in any court, let alone the Kenyan courts, to which the last official function Hon Kibaki performed as the president of the pre-rigging govenment, was to appointed its new judges.

So if there was to be a reconciliatory process and you were each appointed to participate, how many of you can identify calming phrases in your passages, which could be reproduced in that forum, including those of you who are invoking the name of God and the Bible, while still in denial? God as we know him is fair. But we don’t know him to, in the short term, physically intervene in circumstances that have been ignited by clumsy and wayward emotions and impulses. He did not do so in Rwanda, definitely not in Navasha and Eldoret.

God bless rational Kenyans.

How sad it is that we are justifying shedding of human blood, have we no more fear and respect for God's law.

Am Kikuyu, my husband is a cocktail of Luo, luhya n kaleo, my sisters in law and by blood are married to Kisiis, Luhyas,Lous and Taita. I was born and breed in Nandi Hills that where i call home or used to call home.So what tribe are my kids supposed to be since we are all siding with our tribes.

How can anyone justify the senseless killings to the orphaned children, widows and widowers. Jutify to a young girl or boy who has been raped or sodomised by these thugs that its all in the name of fighting for stolen democracy. Does it matter anymore who is right or wrong? what price are we willing to pay, and what for?

This is what I call baseless accusation and I belief these are the works of tribal kikuyu gang in the save heaven in the U.S. It is not proper to just spoil Hon. Rutto's name because he has been solid and firm with the majority people's quest for justice. This is a national leader and it would be prudent to say he is responsible in the genocide. The people who are responsible for genocide are the ones responsible for the total mess we have in kenya. Kibaki the thief is more responsible for genocide for providing Mungiki with police uniform and guns to go kill people in opposition strong holds. This group's motive is no moreless same as the group of kikuyus in Europe raising money to finance Mungiki. Before you start accusing people without evidence, you would be doing better for Kenya by preaching peace but such baseless accusation would only turn Kenya further to violence. As long as Mungiki is incorporated into police, Kibaki and his cahoots cannot make any meaningful efforts as far as this is concerned. Kibaki, Michuki, Karua,Saitoti,Mutua, Kivuitu are the ones which need to be charged with genocide for promoting hate speeches and thieving election. So wake up and open yours eyes. The fact that Rift Valley has fought fiercely is just that it's no more election theft grieviences but land issues.

This is all about evading jail. Kibaki and associates knows very well Odinga means business. They have to bring back the Angro Leasing and Goldenburg cash.

So the only way to end this is not thro the corrupt courts,Its Kibaki to declare another vote.

its painful to see our brothers, sisters and parents die. And its because of somebody staying in Muthaiga, Runda or Lavington.
People woke up 5am to go cast there vote, only to be stolen. From what is on the ground right now, people are fighting because they had seen hope for there future life. Only to be then back to the old days. People voted for change, they wanted kibaki to go home with his old gaurd. But he said know, thats why they are fighting because even somebody without eyes can see what happened. Am praying for my country but at the same time, i`ll just let those people around Kibaki to know that God will charge them. Because Kibaki doesn`t know what he needs to do, these people are the ones who are behind all these. And one last thing, lets all pray for Kenya.

Give me a break!
Why blame an innocent man . You know very well he is not even in the picture. The people are reacting to stolen rights and vote. Kibaki is the thieve and murderer. He is sending his mungiki to murder people in their own Land. No kales or luos or other tribes have gone to central to kill people in their land. Please kibaki stop the bloodshed and step down . You are the cause you know very well you worn in only 6 privinces out of 8. You changed the judiciary and influenced the Eck so you could win. Now you are killing the opposition leaders. Do you really care about our country ? Do you really care about the peace of kenyans? When you were elected president everybody lived in peace and harmony although not 100% . Look at what you 've done? You are just like all the others. Thieves, Robbers and inhumane. God bless you and touch your heart which is as hard as a rock.

Lets pray for kenya. This is not right. Who is drinking the blood of the bleeding kenya? Is these justice and truth in this world? How can the oppresesion be stopped? Who can stop the killing, the injustice the tribalism practised by kibaki and his government, who can bring justice and truth to stand in Kenya if not God?
Lets pray for God to bring justice and truth to the light.
How can they kill an opposition leader because he was bringing change?
isthere an easier way to bring democracy and freedom without violence ? Somebody help me. Somebody help kenya. God help our country Kenya.

No kenyan life is less or greater than the other be it luo, kikuyu, luhya whatever.

If Russia or USA can allow an African to migrate from his country and live there like he belongs:
who are the kalenjin to tell a kikuyu, kamba or anyone they do not belong to eldoret?
or who is a luo to kick out the Kikuyu from Kisumu?
or who is a kikuyu to kick out a luo or a kalenjin from Naivasha?

For those of you that do not observe issues at hand:

It took Raila 20 days to visit kisumu or hold prayers for peace, where was he when the church in eldoret was torched or that cannot be termed as violence?

It took 30 days for Ruto to visit Eldoret after the violence started. True leader indeed.

While you advocate for violence to make a political point about leaders, the so called leaders you advocate for are never there with you. Instead they are in sitting in five star hotels brokering "peace." Surrounded by scores of security and their families are out there in Karen where the machete wielding hoodlums cannot reach.

Anonymous said...

I believe all of us are passionate about our tribal affiliations but step outside of your tribes and tell me which of us did not have ill motives for the just concluded elections. A police man kills a machete wielding Luo man and that is genocide or too violent. but the same machete wielding man can kill a 70 year old blind kikuyu woman or a 1 year old kikuyu baby girl who had nothing to do with rigging and that is considered ok. step out of you tribal and political affiliations and then only then can we see how senseless all this is.

The pokots, marakwets, Turkana, sabaot land defence force from mt. elgon are now countering the so called mungikis to teach them alittle lesson on how to wage wars.

As much as they carry the poinous arrows, It seem this time round they have no choice than to bring their feirce machine guns from Uganda and sudan - which were famous in libyaa. For those who know the history know mt. kenya mafia cannot intimidate the other communities led by the kaleos with the mungikis.

ask the mungikis of Kitale and they will tell you - don't mess around!

so bring on the mungikis and kibaki mafias!!

hey, why was tear gas not thrown to the mungikis attacking the LUO in Naivasha!

So you big mouth kikuyus should not think others are stupid - Soon your all of you will be swallowing your ARROGANCE!

Hello supporters of the gentleman from othaya! You know very well how Rift Valley issue started. It has been there ever since independent, and post-election just open up new wounds. Your grand father Kenyatta Started it by stealing the Kalinjin's land, and giving to the kuiks. The gentleman from othaya continued suporting what mzee kenyatta started. Do not stain Rutto's name on kanyatta/kibaki mess. Do not blame anybody on this , but your own (mze kenyatta & kibaki). If the dead can help (talk), get kenyatta's preserved body from his tomb out so he can talk to his people to return to central Kenya, and leave the Kalenjins their precious Rift Vallley Teritory.

The Kenyan people are just looking for justice a word that the kikuyus dont know about. Lastly a word of caution to the Kikuyus stop killing the luos they are the brains of that country if you kill all of them my dear kikuyus what will you do when it comes the time to use the head and not the head of the penis??!!!

TRUTH IN THE ABSOLUTE this document is, well researched, all and sundry knows just so well that Ruto William has a serious court case pending in which he is accused of stealing million of money from the govrnment under the pretext that he had a plot of land to sell. Ruto's hope was that with Raila coming to power he would shield him(Ruto) from facing an eminent long jail term with a good measure of strokes of the cane should the case go before a fair judge.Ruto's hopes were dashed hoever hen Kibaki hijacked the presidency even after loosing in the elections.ruto wouyld therefore do anything to disrupt the country's systems so that he may escape what is eminently before him. This will only be short term as things at one time will be normal after which Ruto will be charged in a court of law.

We are all brothers and sisters.Let us work together to resolve this mayhem. It does not serve any purpose to shift blame back and forth while Kenya melts away in violence. Let us be "wananchi wazalendo" and look for a way out of this "hell." We are all KENYANS and none of us is better than the other.

Look at the big picture, whether you are in Kenya or in the western world. When Kenya suffers we all suffer. Hurling insults at each other is adding fuel to the fire; we are behaving exactly like our past and present politicians.Someone has to be different.

Kibaki and Raila are not going into each other's homes and burning or attacking each other with 'pangas.'C'mon why can't we all see the hypocrisy of our politicians and strive to make a difference? An innocent Kalenjin, Luo. Kisii, Kikuyu should not be punished for the sins of the politicians.

Let us stop spreading the propaganda and look for ways to maintain peace. I am currently in the western world but a die-hard mzalendo who wants to go back to Kenya and contribute towards the building of our nation.I am disheartened and discouraged by the events of the last one month.

Let us uphold peace at the end of the day! God bless Kenya

How about the President and his cabinet and Raila Odinga with his followers all resign for the good of the country. And be banned from running for any public office for life.
Give the country a chance to elect a new crop of officials, that hopefully can put the country on a bath to recovery.
Let the Military run it for a minute since the civilian government is not doing a thing.
Please spare the children, women and the elderly from this murderous rampage that some people have indulged in.
My condolences to the victims, victim families, relatives and friends.

Can the Kenyan Government and the opposition agree to resign and go home and let the country elect a new group of leaders that can hopefully steer Kenya in a different direction.
Aren't these leaders tired of the bloodshed, leave alone the damage to property.
Schools are closed and business at almost a standstill in some areas of the country.Do these leaders care about the childrens' education and therefore their future?
I am led to believe that these so called leaders on both sides don't care nothing about anyone else but themselves and their families maybe.
We need to get them out of office, the Government and the opposition both, and elect new officials that will hopefully put the country first instead of self.
Thanks

For those who are so young to remember Koitalel Arap Samoei, read his story dating back 100 yrs ago. For 7 yrs he resisted the british guns, he never relented. You should be able to recall Kibaki going to Kapsabet to set up something about his greatness, his role, his parts/things being brought back to Kenya.
That is spirit is alive and its is being envoked by your words, theft and trying to seat on every other Kenyan. You are yet to see the really Laibons and the oryokoyoits in action. From the Saboit SLDF, down to the lion Killers who should be reclaiming their place of cold water for their livestock. You have had of gaza strip??? You may be enclosed in the central wall. You may be the little swaziland in eastern Africa. You guy having been the first to the seat messed up so much, the favours of being given other people land in Molo, Njoro, burnt Forest, Taita taveta, Wandanyi are gone. Its time people have to go to where they belonged way before Ukoloni. You are used to stealing mashamba, mali ya wengine hata mpaka sasa mnaiba kura. Haiwezikani kamwe!!! Yes mashamba mpaka juzi ati kibaki ndio anapatina title deed. Why so long since kenyatta time until now is when title deeds are being issued???

Interestingly, the whole of Kenya seems to be suffering from collective Amnesia, when citing that Kikuyus have had a monopoly on power and wealth - wealth, maybe, but power?! Moi ruled longer than both Kikuyu Presidents combined, and ensured the exclusion of kikuyus from every possible area of civil and economic life, but Kiluyus continued to prosper regardless. Human Rights Watch, an International organisation has produced a report that ODM and Kalenjin tribal leaders were responsible for the ethnic cleansing in the Rift Valley. Kenya belongs to all Kenyans as allowed by our citizenship! Refering to kikuyus as the Mount Kenya Mafia was started by the opposition, and therein began the fuel of hate that has culminated in the burning down of all Kenya. Central remains intact and economic life is continuing, and wehn all is said and done and over with, Kenya will return to depending on central and the hard work of its inhabitants. Violence begets violence and an eye for an eye will leave us all blind. The Rift Valley is inhabited by wealthy former Brits who show no real allegiance to Kenya and who run roughshod over the native Kenyans, but yet, all of your anger is directed at kikuyus - the very same hand that has provided for all of Kenya! Jealousy is purely the emotion that is feeding this resentment, and Raila and his cronies have exploited the ugly green mosnter to try and accede to power that they couldn't otherwise obtain via legal and fair means. Raila has made it clear that he seeks to be a divisive President with an aim of avenging against communities percieved to be wealthier and more powerful simply because of their hard work and resourcefulness. His greed has brought Kenya to its knees and sent all of Kenya's last five years' of progress in his ruthless, selfish pursuit of absolute power!

Ruto is the genesis behind this violence. This was prearranged mayhem to cleanse one tribe in the pursuit of 'majiboism'.What Mr. Ruto did not realize was the extent of the fire that he started. The blood of innocent people is on your hands Mr. Ruto. You are now asking people to quash the violence after all the mayhem that has been caused. Pray, tell Mr. Ruto in the name of Power or Majiboism was it worth it? Shame, shame on you.

For God's sake, quit blaming Ruto for Kibaki's mistakes. The root cause of Kenya's current violence is Kibaki election THEFT! The guys did it so poorly and up in your face that everybody knew and the anger was just too much too bear! To make it worse, all the Central People seem to defend their kin like ship. None of them except for Maathai and Kiai has pointed out about Kibaki being the problem. The rest are encouring Kibaki to maintain his hold on power even when they privately admit that he stole. How do you expect people from the other six provinces to feel? Any way, it is hard to justify the grossly deaths. People must have been angered to a point of no return. My guess is that for a long time things have been happening in Kenya, but Kibaki and his cronnies ignore. The arturs, Anglo leasing, MOU, IPPG agreement. It comes to a point when you have to let the other person know that you are in the room and you are tired of being ignored. Unfortunately for Kenya, and the innocent people, that reaction was violent.

All blame belongs to Kibaki. He is the presitent that organized the election and stole it, he ignored IPPG, he had instruments of power, but did not stop the bloodshed. Actually he made it worse by using tax payer funded police force to target unarmed Luo youths. If you insists that Ruto is responsible then you must also admit that Kibaki is not the president.

It seems the only way out of this mess whoever started it for whatever reasons, is to let it proceed to its final totality. It seems some Kenyans feel they have worriers more vicious, invincible than others, others feel the goverment is useless, while others think they can retaliate and settle scores. My view is let us try all these experiments, when Kenyans realize it is all useless, we will never try to repeat the experience. God help us.

Stop. Stop. Stop. How come brothers are fighting. Yes. I am Kikuyu. But I love my fellow kenyans. I love Kalenjins, Luos, Luhyas, all. I will never hate any of my brothers and sisters. I have lived with all in Rift Valley. I appeal to all, let us stand up as people with understanding. Remember, this is not just about us. What is going on will affect generations to come. I see a better Kenya. A kenya where People will rise above their tribes. I evoke a prayer to the current enemy. Is it Ruto? No. Is it Kibaki? No. Is it Odinga? No. Is it Kikuyus, or Kalenjins, Karamajongs, Luos, Kisiis, Luhyas? No. People, the culprit is the Prince of death. No kikuyu, luo, kalenjin or any other tribe should die. Satan wants to deny Kenyans a deliverer. That is why people are dying. Come together and renounce these deeds. It breaks my heart when I see dead children. Our future. My brothers and sisters. It hurts to see kids dead. Especially when you have little kids yourself. Do not take this route. The murders are killing future leaders who God has sent into the world to be doctors teachers, scientists etc in our country and in the world. Guess what, I will hate non even when violence hits those close to me.Mature people do the right thing. Do it fellow Kenyans. People are the greatest resource a nation can have. Remember that. It is not money, economy, education etc. The greatest resource of a country is its people. Shame to those who are taking the downlow path of giving in to the differences. Yes. we are different because some speak different languages and some are tall or short, lighter or darker, etc. But our differences make us need one another. Reader, think of your own family. You are not the same with your brothers and sisters. Everyone in a family is different and unique. When you bring the differences together, the family becomes strong. Likewise, the country is a family. Luos are a great asset, Kikuyus are a great asset, Kalenjins and all tribes are a great asset. People, that innocent person killed may have been the one who finds the cure for aids. That child murdered could been the first kenyan to the moon. Spare Kenya's greatest resource- Its beloved people of all tribes. Honor the leaders. Refer to them with respect regardless of your opinions. This is good. Be responsible when writing and unless you have accurate evidence, do not say whatever because those leaders are people too. Those doing the killings should be brought to justice and any inciters should be rebuked. I believe kenyans can say no to wrong leaders. Let us also not call evil good. IT is okay to admit that things have not been done right. We want our election system to be good in order to facilitate the rising of a great n good leader. God Spare Kenya from the spirit of murder. I rebuke the spirit of deception. I pray for the peace of all people. Stop the confusion, the hatred and the division. I ask you to send your angles to surround all areas. Spare Kenya from genocide. Remind us that love never fails. In Jesus name. Amen.
My best of friends are people of other tribes. I love them. Even when atrocities happen close to home, even if they turn against me, I will not hate them. I love them even more. Lets pray that god will send us leaders who are visionaries. Leaders who will carry a vision that brings down the walls of tribalism especially for the sake of future generations. Why not use the blogs to insight one another to unity rather than division.Arise kenyans for we can do better than this. Pray for those in Leadership so we may live a quiet and peaceable life. Lots of love to you all.

Hatred will not save our Beloved country. I leave you the words of Gandhi & Martin Luther King Jr. for your consideration: God Bless Kenya......

Non-violent resistance implies the very opposite of weakness. Defiance combined with non-retaliatory acceptance of repression from one's opponents is active, not passive. It requires strength, and there is nothing automatic or intuitive about the resoluteness required for using nonviolent methods in political struggle and the quest for Truth.
--Mahatma Gandhi 1936

The reason I can't follow the old eye-for-an-eye philosophy is that it ends up leaving everyone blind. Somebody must have sense and somebody must have religion. I remember some years ago, my brother and I were driving from Atlanta to Chattanooga, Tennessee. And for some reason the drivers that night were very discourteous or they were forgetting to dim their lights... And finally A.D. looked over at me and he said, 'I'm tired of this now, and the next car that comes by here and refuses to dim the lights, I'm going to refuse to dim mine.' I said, 'Wait a minute, don't do that . Somebody has to have some sense on this highway.' And I'm saying the same thing for us here in Birmingham. We are moving up a mighty highway toward the city of Freedom. There will be meandering points. There will be curves and difficult moments, and we will be tempted to retaliate with the same kind of force that the opposition will use. But I'm going to say to you, 'Wait a minute, Birmingham. SOMEBODY GOT TO HAVE SOME SENSE KENYANS!

Why do we not hear the Presdent commenting on the outrage being unleashed in Rift Valley and Western Kenya. Kibaki needs to speak up as calming voice to reassure all Kenyans that his government is in control. The only voice we seem to hear is that of Raila and his cohorts which is only inspiring more violence. What evidence does Raila have that the perpetrators of Were's killing are linked to "his adversaries". It is such inflammatory comments that are fueling the passions of hatred. In the interest of Kenya and all Kenyans Raila needs to desist from thoughtless and unfounded allegations.

you p'ple better listen and watch as things unfold. This luos and kalejins think killing the kikuyus will help make them rich. They think that the kikuyus got rich because of kenyatta and kibaki.Go back and do your home work country men. Ask yourselves this simple Question. Why didn't the kalenjins get rich during the 24 years when moi was in power. Moi ruled kenya for 24 years longer than kibaki and kenyatta combined. Kikuyus can

Hey brothers and sisters, we are all kenyans and hopefully all with sound minds. The words in this blogs are just gasolene to a very volatile situation. One blogger sincerely asked: If foreign countires can give us visas and citizenship, why not allow a Luos, Kikuyus, Kalegins etc to live anywhere in Kenya? How do you justify the violence that comes every five years around election time? I request each of the bloggers from now on that we cease to use a language that does not heal. We the common people have seriously lost both lives and property. Kibaki, Raila, Ruto, Kosgei or Mudavadi may not have lost. Remember Gandhi, MLK and others who advocated non-violence. However the fighting started, let us all reason together and use these blogs positively. This is a God given tool that can be used to send healing and encouraging messages to many and beg them to stop further genocide. The Scripture encourages us, "VENGEANCE IS MINE SAYS THE LORD". Please take a few moments and pray for us Kenyans, we need your prayers and not hot words that pierce our souls. I know each of us has a reason to fume or relieve. Please don't fern the fire, BUT TRY ALL YOU CAN TO PUT IT OFF. God bless you dear Kenyans.

I find the statement and accusations from People Foundation, Inc, very unprofessional and ill-motivated. I am commenting the statement by People foundation, which read in part “William Ruto Responsible for Kenyan Violence”. Such opinion is against the wishes of Kenyan people. The tribalism inspired opinion from People Foundation also hinder the ongoing dialogue between Honorable Kofi Ann and the contestants of the recently disputed presidential election, Raila Odinga and Mwai Kibaki. Making faults accusations against a particular leader without credible evidence is wrong. Until Mr. Ruto is proven guilty, he is innocent. It is my sincere hope that Kenya Daily Nation will avoid from publishing ill-motivated and inflammatory statement such as the one from People Foundation. Most Kenyans are matured and are yearning for peace to prevail. No tribal politics at this time. Readers from more than 40 tribes read Kenya daily Nation. Maybe we should boycott Kenya daily Nation for publishing tribal inflammatory statements.

Ladies and gentlemen, let us not lie to ourselves. The tribal annimosity amongst tribes was ignited by none other than Mwai Kibaki. Ruto, Raila should have their names be exonerated from such kind of cheap gossips. Infact these are formidable statesmen that are trying to steer the country to a free and democratic governance. Kenyans must shun tribalism orchestrated by Kibaki, Michuki and Uhuru then legitimized by Lucy and the rest of Mt. kenya mafias. Kibaki must do nothing other than Step down, bottomline!

Anonymous said...

my brother.. raila, ruto and their cronies shld be held accountable for their agendas if proven guilty.the mt kenya mafias did not try to expel all the kuiks from riftvalley did they? did they throw kuiks in lake victoria? did they try to cross into ug in search of weapons to finish kuiks.whoever instigated all this does not deserve to be defended at all but shld be exposed out in the open.and be held accountable.

It is so unfortunate that people keep blamming each other. We all need to seek God's guidance in prayer and supplication for the peace or our country Kenya. We need to see the strength of each other regardless of our tribes. Our bodies carries the same blood and no one has better than the other and so we need to see God and stop blamming the other people for what is going on. If we all watch out for each other and care for each other there will be peace. Its better to pray and do good rather that incite with bad ill feelings about what tribe is doing this and that

PLEASE USE THE TIME YOU ARE WASTING ON YOUR COMPUTER TO GO TO SCHOOL, INSTEAD OF SPREADING HATE. I KNOW MOST OF YOU ARE PROBABLY WORKING IN GROUP HOMES AND LYING TO YOUR COUNTRY MEN BACK HOME THAT YOU ARE FLYING HIGH IN FOREIGN LAND. USE YOUR BRAINS WISHLY!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello wananchi....I really do not underststand what the ODM supportes could have won incase Raila became the president.Moreso,by Kibaki being the president, kikuyus gain almost nothing.I do not think that there has been a leader who is an angel and so Raila is not an exception. He is triggering the violence that is going on in the country. If he trully won the elections fairly and cares about the welfare of the Kenyans,he would not be addressing things that he knows will cause problems. For Ruto,I wonder what he is going to gain.Kenyans should open their eyes wide and stop being used by this greedy politicians who just want to remain in power. If Raila has any evidence that he won he should go to court.Saying that he does not believe the Kenyan courts......does he mean he could have appointed new judges of his choice if elected the precident??????????Give me a break Mr Agwambo.Have you become the new king on the throne that everything you say should be done?????????SHAME ON YOUOOOOO!!!!!!!!

By going through all those comments that shows, a true picture of what Kenya is right now. You can't justify a wrong with another wrong. At the end of the day we are the losers as Kenyans. We are all diverse people and we should accept that. Calling each other names and finger pointing doesn't takes us anywhere. If u think your side is right and the other side is wrong, u could be wrong. Think about it again. Whichever way you look at it if we continue at that note, we have nothing to gain but to keep losing. If u have used you comment to try to insult the opposite side you should be ashamed of yourself. Do you really hate that kalenjin, luo, kikuyu, ....? I don't think so. Look beyond your nose.

KIKUYUS LIKE TO FOOL THEMSELVES AND MAY IT BE KNOWN THAT THEY ARE FOOLING THEMSELVES AND THEMSELVES ONLY!!! IT IS NOT ONLY RUTO WHO CANNOT STAND YOUR ASSES. IT IS NOT ONLY LUOS WHO CANNOT STAND YOUR ASSES. IT IS NOT ONLY RUTO AND KALES WHO CANNOT STAND YOUR ASSES. MANY PEOPLE FROM OTHER COMMUNITIES LIKE THE LUHYA, THE MIJIKENDA, THE MAASAI (ALL KIKUYUS HAVE BEEN FLUSHED OUT OF NAROSURA AS I WRITE THIS), AND MANY OTHER MORE THAT CANNOT STAND YOUR ASSES. THIS IS WHY WE VOTED FOR RAILA AND WON BECAUSE HE WAS GOING TO FORM A COMMISSION FOR JUSTICE AND RECONCILIATION THAT WOULD COMPENSATE AGGRIEVED COMMUNITIES THAT LOST THEIR LAND WHEN THEY WERE KICKED OUT BY KENYATTAS GOVERNMENT AND SOLD TO KIKUYUS. HE WAS ALSO GOING TO DEVOLVE THE RESOURCES SO THAT IT IS NOT ONLY KYUKS WHO ARE BENEFITING FROM THE COUNTRY'S TAX MONEY. AND TO ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO SAY ATI ONLY 10 MILLION PEOPLE VOTED AND KENYA HAS AN OVER 30 MILLION POPULATION, DO YOU WANT BABIES WITH SHIT ON THEIR ASSES TO ALSO GO AND VOTE? AND THOSE WHO SAY RAILA RIGGED, WHERE IS THE EVIDENCE? FIRST AND FOREMOST, THE INTERNATIONAL OBSERVERS ONLY MENTIONED GEMA AREAS WHEN TALKING OF IRREGULARITIES. LATER ON, THERE WAS A FEEBLE ATTEMPT BY PNU TO SAY THAT RAILA RIGGED BY PUBLISHING ELECTION RESULTS ON NATION SHOEING A HIGHER THAN 100% VOTER TURN OUT IN RAILA AREAS BUT THE ECK CHAIRMAN ABSOLVED HIMSELF FROM THIS PUBLICATION AND NATION PULLED IT OFF AND STATED IT WAS A MISTAKE. THE ONLY PEOPLE STATING RAILA RIGGED IS PNU AND GEMANS - STUPID PEOPLE. WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE. EVERYBODY IS SICK AND TIRED OF YOU GUYS AND YOU CANNOT PUT THE ACTIONS OF THE MANY PEOPLE FROM MANY COMMUNITIES OVER ONE MAN'S HEAD!!!! STUPID PEOPLE. AND IF RAILA RIGGED, THEN WHY ARE YOU GUYS SO SCARED OF RE-RUN? WHY??!!!

Anonymous said...

People from other tribes like luhya, mjikenda, maasai also killed kikuyus and flushed them out. So now you want to delude yourselves that the only person who is tired of the GEMA monopoly is Ruto and that he is to blame for your demise - shame on you for this sorry attempt to cover the truth. The truth is, like someone mentioned above, many people are tired of kikuyu thieves whose president is good example of how much of a menace you are to society. Why don't you form an island state like Lesotho and have central province be your country?

He will never rule the country boys and girls. He does not even have the qualities.Moi was better.

My fellow Kenyans, I am neither a Luo, Kikuyu or kalenjin. But one thing I have been asking myself for a while now is.... what changed. If it is true that Kibaki did indeed rig the elections this is not the first time elections have been rigged. Matter of fact i would like to take as back prior to 1992 when we used the "Mlolongo" system to vote. The guy with the shortest line (clearly) would be declared winner when it was open for all to see. But violence and hate never errupted to this degree. My view of Kenya (unbiased opinion) is that what is happening has to do with the rekindling of tribal differences in order to garner votes. Even though Kenya has ALWAYS voted along tribal lines without issues this time was different because the leaders thinking they were catching up with the times chose to use tribal propaganda, which clearly kenyans could not handle maturely. It is this tribal hate that has thrown the country into chaos. It is clear to me reading the coments online that the same venom is flowing in the minds of Kenyans abroad. Please let us remember "sisi ni kitu kimoja", we are Kenyans and as Moi would say "wacha tuishi na amani, upendo na umoja" (peace, love & unity). Let us come together and reconclie. Think of your fellow Kikuyu or luo or Kalnjin friends you have grown up with, would you spear them on account of a stolen election? Unless we are all loosing it I am hoping the answer to that question would be no. Life is bigger than elections and I want to belive Kenyans are bigger than this. We as Kenyans abraod should also play our role in reconcliation to mirror the efforts in Kenya instead of fueling this gas leak that could easily plunge the whole country into bloodshed. Since we are away from Kenya its easy to throw rocks at "Them" and point fingers since we are unaffected but I would appeal to us all let us go back to the Motto of Peace Love and Unity and preserve opur wonderful Kenya

we used to be so proud of being kenyan remember the song ..jambo jambo bwana habari gani mzuri sana wageni wakaribishwa kenya yetu hakuna matata..and now we want to bring down the country with hatred and tribal lines.lets not forget kenya would not be kenya if there was even one tribe missing in the equation.we all need each other to build each other.not to play on each others weaknesses and take advantage of situations.GOD BLESS ..

So there is evidence that Raila stole a thousand votes and there is evidence that Kibaki stole a million. A quarter mill is not gonna save him my dear. And if I may remind you that those quarter a mill can stay in Uganda for good as long as Kibaki does not appease the rest of the country. He better think long and hard about what will make the rest of the country allow your asses back to their ancestral land. He better keep in mind that central is very small. Unless y'all wanna live there standing on top of each other. Anyway, maybe you can do it coz your asses are short, scrawny and midget like. Stupid bastards. The person who is still asking if people will go against the marriages, have you not yet seen on the news of broken marriages? Even ones that lasted more than 10yrs. Kenya was a volcano waiting to erupt. You can oppress people only so much before they retaliate.

Fuck kikuyu, fuck kibaki who stole kenyan democracy on 27th dec, you kikuyu's stop the propaganda how sure are you that Mr. Rutto is responsible for the violence, you shut your mouth you stupid idiot coz u don't know what you are writing. kenyan are dying coz kibaki stole the votes, unless kibaki step down kikuyu's will suffer day by day, stupid kibaki plus kikuyus save your gikuyu,s by stepping down, ooh mr. thief(kibaki)you don't know what will happen tommorrow better resign when its too early.

Anonymous said...

The myth that Kikuyus are thieves just got confirmed by the rigging of elections. The comment on Ruto is just provocative. The issue at hand is JUSTICE. If kibaki won the lections, he could have accepted a re-Tally. He has unleashed the Mungiki to kill. 80% of kenya is watching, will the 20% kikuyus get away with everything. When moi was in power, kikuyus fronted for constitutional reforms,as soon as a kikuyu was in power all was lost: No reforms! Kenyans minus kikuyus are watching and the future will tell.

Anonymous said...

What is going on in Kenya is becauese of the anger of the people.we don't have to blame anyone to have incited people to have violence.people are angry because there waking up at six in cold and voting was not respected.i blame the rigging of kibaki to have caused the violence.had he concede defeat kenya would be in peace.the whole world knows very well that the elections was flawed.kibaki should resign for peace to come back in kenya.brother never again accuse someone falsely without knowing the reality.how would you feel if someone accuse you of genocide?think about it.think thrice before you act.

Ruto belongs behind bars he arranged for innocent people to be killed because of their ethnicity, that is a crime against humanity! His primitive kaleos involved in the cleansing will be haunted by bouts of madness for spilling the blood of innocent children! That is a fact, unless of course you happen to be an athesit, even then it will still happen, its a waiting game. Ruto does not belong at the negotiating table discussing the future of Kenya, he will soon be headed to the Hague so why waste the country's time. Although, rumours are Raila can't shake him off, although he is trying. Kibaki, wake up and take charge, put raila in detention where he belongs with his power hungry, blood thirsty, tribal killers! Do the country's business, stop the diplomacy, enough is enough. FYI: Moi ruled Kenya for 24 years, of complete and utter terror, bankrupted the country, Kibaki took over a bankrupt country, tries to restore it and these impatient power hungry, chest thumping, empty rhetoric, non-achievers take advantage of the poor (the result of the MOI era, not Kibaki, lie all you want, truth is staring you in the face!) try to take over the country by force, it won't happen, clear thinking kenyans shed the herd mentality and think for yourselves. Moi brought Kenya to its knees not Kibaki, wrong number guys! The truth never lies it is staring you in the face! Raila, go back to kisumu and help rebuild what your hooligans destroyed, talk about "cutting your nose to spite your face"! Wake up! Children going hungry, killed because of power hungry politicians!

Plus more, most middle and upper class kenyans who can think for themselves and previously supported ODM, all say no way, not this time. They have seen the true colours of Raila and his gangsters. Resulting in more more bloodshed from the primitive, no way! Kibaki, no more diplomacy, detention and jail is what they need! Too many people dead! Primitive opposition! Deal with them accordingly, don't be a gentleman! It is too costly for kenya, lock them up now! The country is bigger than them.

I THINK KIBAKI SHOULD SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING TO KENYANS AND TRY FIGURE OUT WHERE THE PROBLEM IS.KENYA DOES NOT BELONG TO KIBAKI OR RAILA.IT BELONGS TO 36 MILLION SOULS.THESE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO DECIDE THE LEADER THEY WANT.BUT IT IS HURTING WHEN ONE PERSON NEGLECT THE THE DECISION OF 36 MILLION SOULS AND REFUSE TO HAND OUT SEAT.KIBAKI IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEATH OF ALL THOSE KILLED.HE VALUES PRESIDENCY MORE THAN THE LIVES OF KENYANS.WILL ANYONE OF THESE HUNGRY LEADERS REMAIN IN POWER FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES?LETS WAIT IF KIBAKI WILL BE THE PRESIDENT FOR FOREVER.

We need to be careful with the words we use to address each other. We are a proud and beautiful peoples of kenya. We are in essence encouraging, admonishing, inciting, accusing, pointing fingers and other adjectives ...to each other. May I ask..Who are we and what do we want? Can I count you in, as a positive proud kenyan ready to accept change be it status quo or not if it will achieve peace and stop the bloodshed? Besides pointing fingers, what can we do to help heal our nation? Is this the best way to resolve the problems. Some of the comments are shocking, yet I am not surprised. As I write this, I see a picture of a baby crying, sitting in a chair overlooking his dead mother, blood coming out of her head, another picture of a burnt family, a mother crouched over to cradle her baby...that could be your former classmate, teacher, best friend, why go far.. could be your family. What is our role in our country now? I encourage you to call your friends and relatives and encourage them to see each other as people and not as tribes. Land..Land ..seems as though in Biblical times, land was an issue too. When will we realize that we do not own the land. Only God ownes the land..we just till it and it in turn feeds us. Is land more valuble than life?

This article is naive, stupid and wild. Kenyans knows the truth and it does not matter the cheap articles and propaganda that flies right left and center, Ruto is a true statesman. He has been on KASS FM and urged his tribesmen to go slow and i quote him "bikap kutit, ongi mutyon, matkewech emenyon. Ongebakach boriet ak kerib emenyon" This in itself renders this article cheap and infact the opposite of what it is purporting to be true.

May God bless Kenya and protect us from such insinuations and ignominy.

When all is said and done, common wananchi, women and children are the ones suffering/burned in churches/raped and killed for no apparent reason. Kenyans have adopted a culture of lies, greed, corruption and outright shameless indignity. We have a heritage that should be repaired, nurtured, loved, respected and tolerated at all cost. 42 different ethnicity and cultures is not a common place/occurrence in the modern world. Look at Kenya, we have it all and if we cannot offer the world anything else, lets offer them this element. World big 8, baby boomers .....India, china etc can offer technology and industrial advancement. We in Kenya can offer the world....nothing else but harmony, true tolerance, brotherhood and Ugali. Let’s stop the non-sense. Fighting and threatening each other surmounts to hopelessness and shame in the uppermost degree. Lets shun evil and stupidity and build Kenya.

They say every roomer has some truth. If it is true that Ruto is responsible for genocide they should come up with evidence and prosecute him. If it is true he is responsible the he and his offspings and their children will pay for the blood shed. Look what happened to Idi Amin and Sadaam Hussein. I also think its about time the kenyan land issue to be solved once and for all. All the colonial injustices that have there should be solved immediately. I also think the west should stop interfering with Kenyan Politics especially the UK

The writer who says Ruto is stateman needs a dictionary and quickly. Please do not misuse the english language! Innocent babies are dead. The writer further states that she heard Ruto on the Radio telling his people to "go slow" shame on you, how about telling them to stop killing innocent people. He has the audacity to go to Eldoret 3 weeks after the killings of hundreds (maybe thousands) of innocent kikuyus and then ask for peace. No one is fooling anyone, not this time around. Kikuyus were slaughtered in 1992 & 1997, know the saying "fool me the first time shame on you, fool me the second time shame on me". Not this time around, whoever did this will be prosecuted, it may take years but it will happen. What democracy are these said opposition leaders fighting for? They can fool the herd thinking people, but most of us are too smart. Whoever planned those killins will be prosecuted, no-one should take a life, all I need to remember is a child escaped and a thug caught the child and threw the child in the fire, and for a vote - how very primitive, it should make anyone who is civilized sick to their stomach. Those defending this man will rot in hell. "who died and made them god?" Justice will prevail.

Fellow kanyans it is amazing to see that the so called educated kenyan and who know better have reduced themselves to the level of uneducated mean spirited group of people. Just like our leaders, it show that all we care about is egoistic tribal hardline believes. We have failed to learn the hard lessons from other countries that due to blndly following politians and their ambitions ended up in massive loss of live and yet nobody benefitted. Most of you remember Rwanda genocide, and probably you marveled when you saw the news of killings, yet today you are preaching the same hatered aginst fellow kenyans. Kibaki or no kibaki, odinga or no odinga Kenya must remain. As poor fight it out in the street these two guys are sleeping comfortably with the wifes and the continue to enjoy live while we are busy cutting each other throats. It is ashame that a butifull town like kisumu has been reduce to ghost town in the name of democracy. These guys don't care who get hurt on their persut for power. If oginga cared about his tribesmen he would have advised his followers against destroying the own town and property. On the other hand if kibaki cared about you and me he would have called for recount of votes with international observer present. POlitician will call each other names and the following day they will be drinking and dinning together. But for me and you we go hungry because we burnt the small kioski that was supplying us with food or we will be sleeping out in the cold because we burnt the house we used sleep in, all because they belonging to tribe we "suposedly" hate. WHy do we want to be used as pawns in game of leadership. Blogger i wish we all could use technology to spread message of peace and pray that God will intervene on our behalf. Kenya has escaped degenerating into anarchy because majority of the citizens are peace loving. Just a reminder to our leaders, you don't have to be a president to make a difference as you claim to want to do. You can do it being in the opposition. If anyone thinks that by shedding innocent blood will give you satisfication think again. Good example. garang, amin, john taylor, mobutu sese seko sadam husein, even mugabe. All this self proclaimed "leader" fought there own people in persuit of their ambitions and left their people in impoverished condition. Whereas people like Bush (senior), Jimmy Carter, Al Gore, Mkapa, Nyerere, Mandela leaped fame and diginity. Why? because they put their selfish ambitions behind for the sake of their countries and people. For those fighting in the street remember Mandela fought in the streets but later denounced violence for dialogue and hence he became an african icon. We are too advance to engage in the senseless killing in the name of democracy. FOr Odinga, remember you have a big weapon (Majority in the house) with which you can use to fight the goverment and you can achieve your goal being in the opposition as much as you would have being a president. FOr kibaki do the country a favour and contend that elections well not free and fair and and establish an exit strategy to this current crisses. For kenyans let us have an educated debate on how to solve these crisses. Remember, we need a long lasting solutions to the crisses. For today is kibaki tomorrow it will be somebody else and the vicious cycle continues. We thought by moi leaving office our problems were over. I guese not. GOd Bless you all and may he grant you wisdom as you continue to blog.

KIBAKI MIGHT BE A THIEF.
EVRYBODY HAS SAID BOTH HE AND RAILA STOLE.
BUT HE IS NOT A KILLER.
EVIDENCE IS VERY CLEAR THAT ODINGAS GROUP-WITH HIS STUPID PROMISES EG QUASI-FEDERALE.
HAS TURNED HIS SIMPLE MINDED GROUP
INTO CHEAP KILLERS.[KILLERS START AT HOME] AND YOU KNOW WHERE IT ALL STARTED.
FOR THAT ODINGA SHOULD BE HELD ACCONTABLE.AND THAT IS WHAT WE CALL INTERNATIONAL LAW.

may God bless you all and see you in the next life, please learn to promote justice and equality in Kenya without which we can not have a meaningful peace.

baseless, hogwash innuendo purely partisan driven...at least Annan is now making all of us revisit the true reason why we have arrived at the brink of a civil war...land and power issues dating back to the British rule. Something we as Kenyans swept under the rag for 44 years is now culminating into a state of quagmire, with no particular figure to blame but an eroded post-independence Neo-Colonial system. Don't give Ruto too much credit!

How about locking Mr. Kibaki and the three of his negotiators with Mr Odinga and three of his able bodied negotiators in a cage.
Let the two leaders referee and whoever is left standing be declared the winner.
Let everyone else in the country stop killing each other and let's all watch and see on national television who emerges winner.
The winner gets to run the country and the loosers should not complain but lick their wounds and go home.

I JUST WONDER HOW FOOLISH ARE THE MAJORITY OF KENYANS, WHEN A KENYAN TALKS OF 'CAUGHT AT THE WRONG PLACE AT THE WRONG TIME' THIS IS PITTY I THOUGHT ANYWHERE IN KENYA IS MEANT FOR ANY KENYAN REGARDLESS OF TRIBE. I AM TELLING YOU KENYANS THINK WHEN YOU ARE VOTING IF WE HAD TOTAL FACES IN PARLIAMENT WE COULD HAVE BEEN ALRIGHT THIS REGENATION OF PEOPLE TO PARLIAMENT IS WHAT IS KILLING US AGE IS RELATIVE TO ME. I WISH YOU SAW WHAT HAPPENED IN KISII LAND KISIIS ARE BRIGHT PEOPLE THOUGH SOME CONSTITUENCIES BROUGHT BACK PEOPLE LIKE ONGERI WHICH IS VERY STRANGE THAT IS WHY THIS PART IS PEACEFUL DO NOT DISTURB , WHAT NYACHAE SAW WILL TELL THE WHOLE WORLD THAT IT IS BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE NOT REASONABLE ENOUGH WHEN VOTING THAT MAKES US SUFFER. YOU DONT HAVE TO VOTE IN RAILA, RUTO AND KIBAKI ALL THE TIME. WHAT FOR HE DOESNT GET MONEY FROM HIS POCKET TO FEED US. IN FACT THEY ARE JUST WASTING OUR MONEY TO HAVE MEETINGS IN NAIROBI. WHAT DO YOU THINK THEY ARE DOING? IT IS HIGH TIME PEOPLE ARE SUPPOSED TO THINK BY THEMSELVES, STOP killing your fellow poor knyans

Am so deeply sorry what is going on in Kenya. It is a time to act for Kenyan people with unity and peace.

No!!!.....Not for same Scenario what we have experienced in Somalia more than a decade. I can't forget how Kenya and Kenyan people helped with my beloved people and country (Somalia) who are still in a stage of chronic civil war.

Please, do not destroy your country. Swallow the pain and bitterness that you having today.

Killing has no meaning......The only real hope is to Kenyan leaders agree to form a joint administration for Kenya next two weeks. God Bless Kenya!!!

As a Kenyan am very sorry for all those who have lost their love ones, their homes and for some of us pride of our country that we have being able to boost with for a long time. It is unfortunate that some of us fail to see the clear picture of reality.
No one person who becomes the president will ever make an individual have a larger plate of food in his/her home. The only thing that they may do for us is creat opportunity and opportunity is created by ourselves as everything revolve amongst the citizens. How you utilise the resources and consume them. Therefor we all have to look ourselves and really ask how far we have to go before we stop this rage and acts of evilness. Kenya has been well known to be a christian country, just how small is our faith that we have no respect for God. What we do here as humans we will be judged for it.
If I were to go to the poll, I would not vote for President Mwai Kibaki nor Hon. Raila Odinga. These are wealthy men who don't care of any one interest. They have created a rift that I never knew in my generation and I pray that it can vanish.
The bottom line is that new job opportunities need to come up and come up quick as we know that this crimes are being created by jobless people MOSTLY and by occupying them with steady sources of income they would tend to be less focused as to who is in power. Significant projects like railways or man made dams, cross country roads will preoccupy idol minds and keep them off violence and also provide a source of income.
Its sad but Hon Raila gave us too many promises while yet he made no development in Langata as an MP but let Kibera slums grow. If he had the love for the people why wouldn't he dip his hand in his pocket and build apartments to replace Kibera, even if they were for a small rental fee, at least that would have showed that he cared. As a president what would he have done? As for President Kibaki, why does he not involve the local man in his needs. Both are bad leaders and wish that one day a good candidate will come by.

ALL LOVE TO ALL KENYANS REGARDLESS OF THE ETHNICITY.WE ARE ONE AND TO PROVE THAT KEEP THIS IN MIND. IF A LION WAS TO BE LET FREE AND A MAN FROM EACH TRIBE WAS LINED UP IT WOULD NOT CHOSE A CERTAIN MAN BECAUSE HE WAS FROM THIS TRIBE OR THAT, IT WOULD ATTACK B/C IT'S HUNGRY. AGAIN LETS ACT LIKE WE ARE CIVILIZED WE HAVE A GREAT ECONOMY LET NOT MESS THE FUTURE OF OUR CHILDREN.

GOD BLESS KENYA

Kenyan brothers and sisters,
I'm making a very passionate request to all of you who love peace, unity, love for one another.
Having authored two hateful blogs earlier on,i hereby pray that God ALMIGHTY will forgive me for being so callous and impervious to reasoning.
I remembered a song in Swahili used to listen to somewhere blazing from a shop in Eastleigh Nairobi before moving to States[couldn't afford a stereo then]'goes thus, kila mtu atatoa habari zake mwenyewe, mbele ya Mungu siku hiyo inakunja...and on and on.'Right now as i write i shed tears as i pray that Jehovah God has forgiven me for displaying this arrogance and hate all because i was annoyed and frustrated.
I now confess my sins and have joy knowing, the King of Kings who died for me will listen to my humble prayer.
I also plan to research with immediate effect the best way to send help to the suffering in Kenya coz of this violence.i forgot for a moment iam very blessed to be in America not because i'm smart than you guys back home but rather because the LORD directed his blessings my way.
I will henceforth propagate peace amongst everyone i meet just like before. You will not belief that i attended a big church led by a Kalenjin man of God,only later to stoop this low!
for the sake of our country and love for our saviour Jesus Christ;WON'T YOU DO THE SAME BROTHERS AND SISTERS??
peace,peace dear Kenyans!

I live in the US.

One time I heard an irate African American woman yell at her Kenyan husband telling him not to behave like a chicken running around in the field, with its head chopped off. At the time I found that charge amazing in various respects. One; how a woman, brought up in a very urbanized society, developed the proficiency of using such an analogy. Two; was whether she meant it to be an insult or just a caution. Three; whether or not it was conceivable for a chicken under such circumstances to run around long enough to exude behavior that can attract controversial analogy.

After trying many times to influence people on this blog to re-direct their discussion to issues and in a direction that can effect a reconciliatory path-or discontinue this blog; after pleading for respect for truth and failed, it is now apparent that the purpose of its existence is perhaps for contributors to let off steam.

Many of you repeat the same patterns which some people with patriotic sense are besieging you to desist from. The Kalenjin are dug in about the land issues they have with Kikuyus and alluding that the rigged election results provided them the opportunity to argue their case. Kikuyus are apparently dug in and continue ignoring the plight of their displaced lot in the Rift Valley. They continue stooping low to engage in that debate, drawing the rest of Kenyans to take sides in it.

There are issues of inequality in Kenya that demand an intelligent debate. This is NOT the time for it. Some(most) content is beginning to be annoying.

How are you Kikuyus going to insult Kalenjins in this blog and tell them to “return to their bushes?” They have evicted your lot, and other Kenyans from that land and we are all concerned. You correctly state your people were evicted unfairly (every Kenyan has a constitutional right to live and invest where they can, remember). But “bushes”? That is a negative label. If indeed they were bushes what were your people doing there in the first place? Does it matter to you that we need all the cool and reasonable to remain neutral to maintain the voices and spirit of reason alive?

What is this about, the arrogant in your lot threatening Kenyans that you can retaliate big? If you can, why are you here and not in Eldoret? Mungiki, whose agenda scares even the Kikuyu is now loose terrorizing Kenyans who hail from west of the Rift Valley. I your arrogance healthy and worth our sympathy and empathy?

You keep repeating that Hon Kibaki has done in 5 years what Moi did not in 24? So what? Moi, at least, had the honour to surrender power and hand over Kenya to democracy. He had the choice to stick to it like Mugabe but he didn’t.

The discussion has now gone too low; circumcision and sexual performance. Is it going to sink into your brains that “uncircumcised” Hon Odinga and “circumcised” Hon Kibaki are not affected in any way, as some Kenyans are telling you?
Sexual performance? “uncircumcised” Hon Odinga is fucking Ida and she may be unsatisfied to hell. And Hon Kibaki may be struggling to insert his age-wobbly “circumcised” one into Lucy and failing while Lucy asks kai yarega kuingera, geria muno mundu. Ingiria ta mwanake.

If that is important to you, can we truly make it a national debate, when people are dying in the streets because of a rigged election?

One of you said that many of you may be “cleaning old people’s asses in group homes”. I particularly don’t engage in such spiteful language. But it would occur that instead of engaging in a discussion with the expectation that, in reality, everyone comes to the table with a head, you have come thinking that every body has only an ass which you know best.

I AM DISGUSTED.

Sorry to Hon Kibaki/Lucy, Hon Odinga/Ida for using undignified language to stress a point. And for now, let us revert to the chicken with a chopped-off head.

One; with hate blogs like this one, it is possible for a person brought up in an urbanized set-up to experience chickens in that predicament running around. Some of you don’t present a case of ever having had a head in the first place.

Two; to many of you it is a compliment, not an insult.

Three; chicken in that predicament can run long enough to attract disgust. Many of you, including the sponsors of this blog, can run for ever.

Disgusted Kenyan patriot

it is very sad that people continue talking their mind and wishes while going round the truth which really hurts.I am a victim in that I belong to the 'correct ' tribe in Eldoret. Most of us dont have access to a computer but are great witnesses to what happened.Young men came to Eldoret at night and [note well] THEY SPOKE IN MARAKWET. we all know they dont belong here but they had knowledge of which house to torch and which people to kill.In the morning two of the young men lost their way and met me along eldoret kitale road at tairi mbili near Raiplai they spoke to me in marakwet and the only person they knew was RUTO i got lift for them from the milk track.

Am a Luo and have many Kikuyu friends. Althought I believe Kibaki stole elections, am stating very clearly that people of all ethnic backgrounds should not hate/kill and bust on each other because of ones poor decision. We are all Kenyas, and should spend more time in Nation building. If we all pend the equivalent time we spend bloging destructive literature wisely you will all agree we can accomplish many things we share in common. We have to celebrate our differances and kill each other. Once again am a Luo and I love all people who are constructive regardless of their background. I know this is a difficult and tempting time in our nations history, but I have faith in us all that we shall over come. I urge you all to spend more time loving your children than hating those different than you.

I applaud the editors of The Nation for hosting this blog.

I am appalled at all the multilayered hate mongering going on.

Seems to me that the rigged elections triggered the eruption of a multitude of historical inter-tribal grievances going back to almost Adam and Eve ...

What good would it do to re-run the elections until such time that both the ECK and the judicial system of the country have been reconstituted and can be trusted to do their jobs fairly and impartially .

In the interim we have to face some ugly facts : Whoever was the real winner 1 month ago was only supported by roughly half the electorate with the other half bitterly opposed to him .
This spells disaster for any society which attaches little or no value to tolerance for people of opposing political or religious beliefs.
With other words : As long as we are not ready to say and live " I deeply disagree with what you are saying but I am defending your right to express your opinion"
we are not equipped , as a society, to support a functioning democracy.

It is amazing to read what you write. It is clear to me that you know nothing about Kenya. The name Angela Dominguez sounds to me like one of those illegal immigrants on the hide out in California. I would expect this kind of rhetoric from a Dominguez, any time of the week. Let me teach you you little misinformed girl, Karamojong, are indigenous to Uganda, the last time they were seen in Kenya, was way back when they use to steal from Pokot. That was cut short when Pokot figured out how to deal with them. Mr Rutto, a kalenjin has nothing to relate with the Karamojong. What makes me wonder is the fact that you say that they were in Eldoret, with those kinds of weapons, and yet nobody was sustain a single bullet other than those from Kenya Police. excuse me, but I would have to be really stupid to think like you do. So you say they were in Eldoret, meeting with Rutto over a weekend. It is how contradictory your statements are with what is going in the real world. Rutto was and has been in Nairobi ever since the allegation of rigging came out. So stop pedaling lies. Kenya need justice before peace can prevail, the signs of the time indicating that this is the only option. The sooner the better.

This blog should and must be removed from our site. Technology should be used to bring a positive outcome not this kind of hatred. Please Kenyans don't fall prey to these nonsense. Whoever is responsible will be brought to justice sooner or later be it ODM or PNU. Right now we need educated Kenyans from both sides to preach peace; not be involved in this animosity. If there is any evidence that Hon. Ruto instigated the violence then please give the evidence to the Kenyan police. Putting this baseless claims on the internet makes you worse than those who started the violence. Please, please wananchi, let's all be smarter than this...we know better and should not be preaching hate. Our country needs us to be clear minded...DO NOT LET HATRED CONTINUE BLURRING WHAT YOU KNOW DEEP DOWN...We all loose at the end if this continues. Please END IT!

Some one told me that "Kenya was build on Blame, and kenyan culture on based on blame" She never has been to kenya, but I could not agree with her less. Meet a Kenyan, the after greeting it is, And where are you from" then usually the conversation will go like, blame those Kales, Luos, Kikuyus Now see what this pregnacy has given birth to.
Look at those people on the streets whos is with pangas and rungus, fighting, To me they look like the jobless, poor, if any, very few teachers and educated or people with jobs. Where are the leaders children, in kenya, in Mathare or Karen, Muthaiga, some slum area is where Oginga or Kibaki child lives??? Kenyans think twice, do not be deceived, after the presidents take white house, will they notice those who died for them at Kibira?? Who is loosing???? when will kenya be one tribe. When will you think of Living in brotherly love and unity, bounty be found within our borders. Could we learn from the countries around us? Your own kenyas brothers living in UN refugee tents, on UN food portions.

unknown Author:

The issue before us is not easy as it looks. I guess all of us are looking at the situation with our colored glasses. Colored by our perception of the other people or by our perceived injustice carried against us depending on our social or ethnical backgrounds. We are all waiting for external events or the other person to act in a certain way in order to release us from our anguish and anger. We have become emotional prisoners of one another, regardless of our education or religion we secretly want blood and destruction. I met someone who seemingly can't eat since this crises started, why? Because of the way they feel about the situation and that tribe that has caused it.

What we have refused to take is personal responsibility. We must appreciate the fact that true healing starts first with us. Our release from anger is not with the other person, or a summon on the pulpit, it is with us. We must take responsibility of our emotions and feelings towards the other people .

This is the only way we can build a civilized society.

Without saying it people are looking for revenge and justice. It is said when you take the route of revenge, you then must dig two graves because you also become a victim. We must first find personal freedom by disempowering the other person to be the source of our self esteem or happiness. You disempower the 'other person' by first forgiving them in order to realize true peace to enable you to rationally evaluate the cause of the current events and factually deal with it.

Dr Munroe in his book the Burden of Freedom notes that many third world nations have never known what real freedom is. We want freedom both social and economic but we don't want the responsibility that comes with it. For years we hated the Asians for their prosperity; we even beat them and destroyed their property when we got a chance to. But we remained poor. However over the last 10 years, we have taken responsibility, we have developed our business skills.

We have now competed with them in the spare parts business; we have invaded the city shops with our exhibitions stands and killed the 'Dukawala'. The crusade continues, we soon shall follow them into the industrial area and start manufacturing. We don't hate or beat them; we must compete with them in a free enterprise and beat them at their own game. In short we have taken responsibility and claimed our freedom from hate and economic need.

Forgiving the other person almost sounds cowardly. But it is the first step towards greatness, it is the path that made Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela great, yet in this perceived weakness they brought lasting freedom to their masses. Your character must be bigger than the issue before hand.

You deal with the issue but preserve the core at any cost, you take responsibility. What is a world without your opponent? We are all co dependent on one another.

In our different forms we constitute the beauty of Kenya . Imagine a world without the flair of the luo, the hunger of a kikuyu and the humor of a kamba. It is this distinct different cultures that visitors admire about Kenya and want to come back again and again.

Last Saturday my wife and I went to salvage our business that we have build painfully over five years. A gang of youths were at the gate and ordered us to turn back or burn our car. Some of them were people we had directly helped. They were taking pocession of every business premise on that building as their own. They have been made to believe that by freely taking, they will find personal freedom. We turned back and left them to occupy the building and loot the premises. Was I full of hate for them for destroying our investment of five years? Maybe for a moment, it was painful but I took control. I must not become their emotional prisoner through hate. Instead of anger I actually pitied them because they were living in a form of ignorance. I have found personal freedom that they apparently haven't. I shall start again, I shall build another business. After all this is the spirit of enterprise. I shall find economic freedom through daily effort and the search for a better way. They will never on the other hand find this freedom unless they first seek to understand or someone explains to them.

We look foolish in the eyes of the world as we torch our country in the name of anger. We entertain the west in their cozy living rooms as we chase our brothers with pangas and destroy property. We bring color to their evenings as they enjoy the boredom that comes with tranquil and peace. After all, this better than watching wrestling. This is Real TV as Africans torch their country and mutilate one another. It is true what they have always believed; the African might actually never find civility.

I have thus made a choice not to be angry with the 'other tribe'. I will endeavor to forgive where I have been harmed, I will search where I am unjust to the other person so that I can correct. But we must all rise above the hate regardless of the facts and search for the greater common good.

If you find truth in this please pass it on to one more person.

God bless Kenya and Kenyans.

Hello Kenyans, this is really simple, STOP posting messages on this blog today and tomorrow you won't see it up again I promise you that. This web site is owned by an illegal immigrant in USA and I know that because I have done my research. I live in New York and I have been doing research since I saw this blog while on Nation News paper web site. From my findings these illegal migrants are making money out you guys if you didn't know, THE MORE HIT THEY GET BY YOU POSTING AND VISITING THE SITE THE MORE MONEY THEY MAKE FROM THE SPONSERS. BE SMART AND LET THIS MESSAGE BE THE LAST ONE FOR A CHANGE. As a Luo I hate to see this much hate, FROM FELLOW KENYANS.

Most of posts in this blog are from kales. No one has mentioned that kyuks have by kales in 1992 after Moi rigged the election. ... i guess rigging was ok then. He rigged again in 1997 a more kyuks were slaughtered in politically instigated violence.

To the writer who claims that this website is owned by illegal immigrants stop your cheap shots! You are just trying to silence people, even if it was so what? What is your point? Kenyans and the friends of kenya around the world continue expressing your opinions, don't be silenced by cheap shots! Do use appropriate language though, no point in cursing and expressing un-necessary anger. Civil discussions are good for our country, what is democracy after all?

Just so you know, this website is not owned by illegal immigrants. It is owned and operated by me and my staff at YourBlackWorld. We put the release up on the site because it expressed a point of view. We neither endorse nor deny viewpoints that are expressed here and hope that anyone who disagrees says so.

By the way - I have nothing against illegal immigrants, but I am not one. Sorry to disappoint you.

Who said Kikuyus are hard working? They are petty theives, corrupt, grabbers and spreading their disease not only in Kenya but internationally. You are an embarassment. Kibaki will step down and he will be the last Kikuyu to rule. The rest of the EMA in GEMA will disown you and you will be like the rest of the Kenyan's you have marginalized. Stop talking tough when you are refugies in your own country. The one who said Raila should toe the line, you must be thinking with something other than your head. Change is inevitable. It will happen.

Anyone remember we are the descendants of Adam and Eve? Please. Let's all give God a chance and shut up y'all so God can speak loud and clear to all of you. Bet he is poppin some Tylenol from all the noise and tribalism that is simmering here like some hot spring waiting to shoot out of the earth !!!!! oh wait!! it already shot out in Rift valley, nakuru, naivasha etc. I miss the old Kenya...
Geez guys.

I have to agree with the blogger who says "the only consolation is that you are 12years old" we really should not be thinking like this in this day and age, most of us of course are speaking from their warm houses, away from Kenya. We are all Kenyans and we cannot separate ourselves based on tribes!

Anonymous said...

I am saddened to read some irrelevance posted by some readers.Respect this forum. It is an opportunity to air your views maturely in a democtratic manner. As a Kenyan,I am suddened by the events back home.A President will emerge from a tribe. We need a uniter.Kenyans from all walks of life must wake up to realities. We must unite to fight politicians who cannot unite us and only breed hatred among us.I am a Kikuyu by tribe, this day and age,we must not bury our heads in the sand like flamingoes.Rise above tribal sentiment and realize that politicians are taking us for a ride while they are creating hate and isolating us from other tribes.Kenya is for all tribes and no tribe should claim superiority over others. No sooner we wake up and start thinking positively the better for us and in the future.
Both Kibaki and Odinga must talk to each other and now is the time to show leadership not tribe and stop unecessary rhetoric while people continue dying. Those people who are killing each other.Ask yourself. After you kill your fellow Kenyan, where do you go after that.Raila and Kibaki will continue enjoying being protected and running arround in expensive Mercedes purchased from tax payers money.Think, think, think, think, and think a thousand times if you care about your country. It's not about tribe, it's about policies.

Dr. Boyce Watkins, sir,

I want to thank you for emerging to respond to “Dimosh”. He basically:
Stated that the blog was owned by illegal immigrants
Pleaded to people to stop contributing to the blog
Charged that you make money in proportion to the number of hits to your site.
I find it significant to not that you responded quickly only to deny one aspect of that charge indicating that the undenied part is factual.

I have passionate questions to you. Before I pose them, let me summarize some observations.

Many people have:

expressed the view that this blog is elevating the tribal tensions amongst Kenyans( I am the one who said that I “didn’t know that there was a Kenyan hate blog of this magnitude” and wondered why it bears a Kenyan flag at its head “making it look official”).

Stated that what is happening in Kenya is equivalent to a genocide and requested Kenyans to address healing rather than propagate hate.

Continuously expressed their frustrations that so long as the blog exists the venom will continue to be spit and the voices of reason and empathy may get, drowned, contaminated or diffused such that efforts to reconcile a nation quickly may be complicated and even doomed.

When you surfaced to claim ownership and maintenance of the blog ”with your staff”, you denied one of the three points Dimosh’s passage, namely that you are an illegal immigrant. Do not deny that you make money proportional to the number of hits to your site now. Because if that was not deniable earlier then it should still be true now.

My questions to you are these.

Your are not an illegal immigrant. You are either a permanent resident or a citizen of the USA. Your name suggests the latter. Whatever the case, you have a permanent home outside “burning” Kenya! Do you have a human heart that can see this world beyond profits and monetary gain? Do you want to propagate mindsets that can prolong suffering in Kenya because you have no stake in that country? Do you know that many of the contributors cherish their country because they have relatives and dear ones back there, regardless their status here?

Do you know that a national flag is internationally regarded as a solemn uniting entity? By your title you should. Do you know that if/when a people who belong together see their flag they want to coalesce and find out if there is a national ‘calabash’ near that flag, from which they can each sip and share; if the calabash is full of sweet they want to sip from it one after the other and get the celebratory mode spreading until each one experiences it, and if it is filled with sorrow they want to sip from it anyway so that they can experience the sorrow together? What animalistic instincts do have that you want to make a dollar, fanning hate by using an ailing nation’s flag to lure its citizens to sip from a poison-laced calabash?

A Dr?

A Dr who has sworn to preserve human life or a Dr of philosophy?

Do you know that Kenyans have blood like other human beings? Do you know that that blood is now being shed by people who profess irrational thought processes, probably because they have shallower reasoning capacities-and you want to disperse that with technology ? Do you know that many of us are very disturbed about it?

Do you know that the solution to the problems we face in Kenya will require those who have been exposed to reconciliatory content through education or social engagements such as the online audience whose perspectives you are poisoning? Do you know that the online Kenyans you have set on each other like blood hounds are the worthy resource of our community, whose desired output you are obstructing forever?

You tell us that you published the article because it represented a point of view. Who are you fooling sir? With due respect, a point of view is an opinion someone develops or adapts when exposed to factual data or situations.

The article you published states that it is NOT an opinion. It is claimed to be a researched piece. Research adheres to some academic protocol which your hate article has not. You have, in the article, contradicted many known tribal and ground dynamics and reality. A research document is a serious publication which bears accountability of authorship, reference, authority and proof of claims and conclusions made therein. Weren’t you ever exposed to a research exercise on your way to your “doctorate”?

All you did was stumble over an article (or created one with your staff) and published it to excite and incite hatred/disaffection. And then sat with a basket to collect the mighty dollar as unknowing, unsuspecting and job-fatigued Kenyans clicked the computer mouse to take sides and spit their fire. And Judging from the contribution in this blog, for the last few weeks you must have been smiling all the way to the bank. Meanwhile, back home, Kenyans are mourning from over-stretched mortuaries all the way to the gravesites.

Do you know that you should be ranked together with Hitler, Charles Tailor and the Rwandese inciters?

Kenyan Patriot.

Kenyans, there is no need to insult each other, cultural differences are herer and we are not the same anywhere in the world.

Most of you are not at home, you enjoy the security and peace of other nations.

Yet you behave like the politicians who have landed us in this mess, by belittling your dear brother or sister.

Spare us the rubbish, if you want to help send donations, if you are a lawyer come and help us make a more elaborate constituiton that will restrict the executive from choosing his own ECK.

Finally send donations for the IDPs because the HAKI yetu we all talk about, its not real hapa. HAKI YETU means lets loot and burn houses and slash my dear kenyan like a tree.

Wake up, preach peace and argue sensibly.

I am speaking to all Kalenjin, Kikuyu, Luo and all other Kenyans. God is above all the leaders. be it Kibaki, Raila, Ruto or Mudavadi, He is almighty and powerful, God is above Kenya, God is above every human being on earth. God is above the Devil.
In the name of jealousy and hate, you have killed the innocent. Be it kalenjins, Luo's or Kikuyu's all are my children. You have killed them, you have shed their blood, you have shed their innocent blood.

God has seen all that has happened, he has witnessed it all, he knows what is in your hearts, he knows your thoughts. He has seen you kill innocent people, he has seen you shed innocent blood. God gave you a chance to repent. But now you refused to listen and to repent. God has judged you already. Your judgment has gone before you. He has poured upon you his wrath. He has cursed you and your children and your children's children. From this day on you will know he is God the almighty.
"VENGEANCE IS MINE" says the Lord.

You people have angered the wrong person. Am not talking about Kikuyu's or Michuki or Mungiki, But you have angered God. One thing I would never want to experience in this lifetime or the next is the wrath of God. Just ask the Devil, I am sure he will tell you the same.
For all those people who are speaking with such pride, justifying killing members of other tribes, Justifying your leaders actions, that they can do no wrong. You should all know that pride comes before a fall.

we should be upright in our language, the rigged election will not help anyone but only cause hatred between kenyans and must be condemned those calling others names are probably the insane beings whose critical thinking needs to be modelled into something that honest and peace loving kenyans can admire. The election commissioners failed the entire nation and Africa in general as kenya that once used to send peace throughout the world is currently burning it is a shame whether somebody cover their cases on tribal worship, we all have lost and our nation will never be the same again.

most of the comments are obviously from people who don,t even live in Kenya. On 28th, Kikuyu people in Kisumu and Eldoret were already being asked for their id,s. As for the belief that the Kikuyu have dominated Kenya's wealth, go to any rural village in Central and you'll see differently. The more ,adventurous' kikuyu who were willing to take risks moved to the rift, BOUGHT land and prospered(relatively). So all this hate from ODM is misplaced.

PUBLIC AWARENESS
ODM team should be cautious about the killing of the Embakasi MP.I know there will be a convoy from Nairobi to Nyanza province. The Kikuyus want to use this opportunity to transport guns that they stole last week from the barrack to Kikuyus in Nyanza and Western province and start killing Luos and Luhyas. This is a pregnant plot and if they down play it,we will regret. The illegitimate, self proclaimed gorvt of the Kikuyus will do anything to make sure they remain in power.GUNS ARE BIENG TRANSPORTED TO KIKUYUS IN WESTERN AND NYANZA PROVINCES OF KENYA.HELLO!IS ANYBODY LISTENING TO ME?

If there was a trace of karamoja cluster guys in the skirmishes boy! we wont be talking as of now. Some little advice for the author of the article, always do a research before you posit stuff. Seems like you have your investigative company in Kenya, is it CIA or Mosood or FBI etc? Why not also try investigating the Uhuru Kenyattas donation of 4million Shillings to Mungiki and the likes of Michuki among others? How about the results of your investigations on poisoned food from Central to Rift Valley and Nyanza in the name of humanitarian AID? How about Livondo Stanley's operations in western province aimed at killing ODM's presidential campaingn team? How about police using excesive force on Kenyans who are not Kikuyus and going easy on Kikuyus? You have alot to investigate Mr. Investagator? Give us Answers and also proper evidence concerning your allegations against Ruto so we can believe you otherwise shut up your foul mouth and get something to do with your energy, shameless coward who cant even say who he is. Am not here to argue about xteristics, superiority and the like, all those can never be proven beyond reasonable doubt because we are all Kenyans, diverse we could be but we compliment each other in various ways so hence the end result is an amalgamation of different cultures. However,am trying to shift the forcus of all these blogs. Please note these names:Naivasha,Nakuru,Njoro,Elementaita, ole Nguruoni, all these names indicate historical well established places of the Maasai grazing land.Eldama
Ravine,Mogotio,Solai are Kalenjin names and that is the border of Kalenjin land with the Maasai. So, this is my question,as a Maasai, Why aint we the Maasais being included into the conversation reagarding the land disputes?l think am begging the question, l recall l already established the fact that this is not Kalenjin land. So Kenyans, stop being swayed by this selfish people, they are even turning against their alliance tribes in the Mt Elgon and Kitale areas. In other words, they are setting pace to divide and conquer the country. If other tribes do not realise this fact, you will be encouraging neo Colonisation, and that is unacceptable. In summary,HAKUNA KENYA YA MTU,just imagine am in America and l own a house,a business and a posh car. So likewise a jungu is welcome to go to Cheptirret and buy land there. So stop the bickering, and start looking for your stuff, and all those tradional, uncivilized practices of our nomadic communities shoUld be banned and their bows, arrows and spears should all be seized. This is the 21 CENTURY people, stop acting as if you are in the STONE AGE.

Can we all go back to our old days and be the Kenyans we used to be. What's the point of Kenyans killing each other on the ground and others killing each other through this convinient means-internet? It does not make any sense to go on for each others' throats like this. What are we accopmlishing? Who are we impressing? Who is suffering? Let us all sing our National Anthem, ponder on those words, lay down our heartaches and pray to God for strength to start all over again. It is time to forgive each other and support the government in place forthem to represent us all as Kenyans. God is able to change mens' hearts. All those political criminals, if we cannot get them, let us leave them in the hands of their maker, He is well capable to deal with them. Let us respect each other, join hands and move on together as one. PEACE, PEACE, AND GOD BLESS KENYA!

I DONT SEE ANYTHING THAT SHOULD MOVE GOD TO OUR RESCUE. DEMOCRACY IS VERY EXPENSIVE. THERE'S A LOT THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO GET AS ON TRACK.
THE MOST AMAZING TRUTH IS HOW BOLD TEAM KIBAKI RIGGED THEMSELVES BACK TO OFFICE.

I wish to delineate the slaughter of innocent with rigging of elections. Kenya has fought for various issues in the past without ever resulting to ethnic cleansing as being witnessed in Rift valley. When we fought for multiparty democracy no member of kalenjin community was slaughtered although they we perceived to be the tribe in power. Even so in 1992 when Moi was perceived to have rigged himself in power against formidable opponents like Jaramogi Odinga and Kenneth Matiba. This was also reflected in clamor for constitution change.
Why are there clashes even among tribes that are perceived to be ODM friendly like what is happening in Aldai or Eldama Ravine.
William Ruto is culpable and Kenyans should not let him escape with it. In his bid to enshrine himself as the Moi replacement and king of kalenjin king he has advocated for hate of other tribes while trying to show himself as turf.

One day this dark cloud hanging over our beloved country will finally give way to a new day. On that day all Kenyans will once again live and sing and work and play and pray side by side without regard for each other’s tribe. On that day the sun will once again shine and bring yet again the promise of a prosperous future for all Kenyans, a promise borne of the optimism and resilience of a great people. When that day comes, we shall once again proudly wave our flag, and marvel at the strength we never knew we had that allowed us to remain one nation during this our most trying moment. And on that day we shall not forget the painful lessons of today. We shall be glad that we were able to chose brotherly love over hate, and vow never again to allow our social experiment to be derailed by partisan interests. And we will honor those whose lives were needlessly cut short, and equally, those who led the path to healing, and who hastened the dawn of that day.

What will be said of you on that day?

THE OTHER THING IS THAT LUOS ARE NOT CIRCUMCISED HENCE THE TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE FACED BY OTHER COMMUNITIES IN KENYA, THAT LEADS TO LOSE OF SEXUAL SENSATION, HENCE PLEASURE, AND LOSE OF INTELLIGENCE AS A RESULT OF DAMAGE TO NEURONS CONNECTED TO THE VAGAL NERVE, WHICH CONVEY MESSAGES TO THE BRAIN FROM GLUTEUS MAXIMUS, IS NEVER EXPERIENCE BY THE LUOS. NO WONDER THEY DOMINATE ACADEMIC WORLD IN KENYA DISPITE THE FACT THAT WE HAVE NEVER BEEN FAVOURED BY ANY GORVERMENT IN KENYA, AS A MATTER OF FACT MOST LUOS SEE FELLOW KENYANS FROM OTHER COMMUNITIES CHEAT IN KCPE & KCSE BUT STILL THEY FACE EACH AND EVERY EXAM WITH NO INSIDE INFORMATION BUT WITH THEIR PENS, PAPERS AND THEIR DRAIN. “CIRCUMCISION IS ROBBING US OF INTELLIGENT KENYANS LET STOP IT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD”. Home is home though it never be so homely, be proud to be a Luo.

These are lies and propaganda that will go nowhere! Please preach peace instead of blaming others without evidence and engaging in a form of incitements that will cause more chaos. The disclaimer on this website does does not cut it!

Back to "mkula damu, MAASAI-KIKUYU" may be cows are not from heaven. At first I didn't want to respond but then I said let me set the record straight to "Maasai-Kikuyu" Well call your Kenyan Embassy to confirm the statistics if you think they are not true. The truth is, NO amount of evidence will convince you, so take a hike. WHICH TRIBE DO ALL KENYANS CALL SECOND EUROPEANS BACK HOME FOR THEIR COMAND OF THE QUEEN'S LANGUAGE, THEIR STANDARD OF LIVING, STYLE, AND FASHION SENCE.

It is sad that Kenyans have lowered themselves to this level. Be careful what you say, words are very powerful. Making threats that you will kill someone from a certain ethnic community and their children is a very irresponsible statement. We all need to respect the sanctity of human life. What goes around comes around. You will need to live with yourself after killing another human being. We all love Kenya and want the best for it. And let us be realistic, there will always be rich people and poor people (even in the first world countries there are rich and poor people). Anyone claiming that if they become president they will create equality, may they be called liars. People have a right to vote for whomever they please. Just because someone is making the loudest noise and making threats does not mean that we all have to vote for them, remember empty "debes" make the loudest noise and silence is golden.
At the end of the day we will all be answerable to God for all of our actions so watch what you say.
Proud Kenyan.
